Joe Wright to Helm 'Pan'

Coming Soon has their set report, and WB has released a new beautiful poster for the film.

That shockingly looks like an old-fashioned poster from the 80s or 90s... when posters were good.

Wow, I almost forgot about this movie. Cool poster though. Hope we get another trailer soon. The first one intrigued me but it wasn't enough to make me want to see it in the theater.

Great poster. But I feel like we don't need another live action Peter Pan movie after the amazing adaptation a couple years ago.

The linked article says new trailer is coming Thursday.

I just read a cute interview with the kid who's playing Pan, and how he see Hedland as a big brother, but doesn't see Mara as a big sister because (he has a crush on her!). haha

Haha, can you blame him?

A very smart boy. :yay:

I'm not going to see this movie because they made the Indians white.

He's suppose to wear a wig right? Like the character just wears one, it isnt suppose to be his natural hair?

Yeah, he wears wigs…there's a few shots of him completely bald.

Yeah I get the feeling they put the new trailer off a bit due to all thats been going on with everything else trailer wise.

Don't really want to compete with Star Wars and BvS. Though, they should have known this was coming a while ago. If the attention was to get the trailer onto AoU, I really hope they still do it. It needs the attention.

This movie feels like it has such an uphill battle, especially with all the release date changes around it. If it rocks like I think it will, I hope it does well enough for a sequel. Rooney Mara being apart of a franchise would be nice for me personally. Not enough of her out there. And Joe Wright is a brilliant director.

It's getting completely lost right now.

This movie seems like it would be better suited for a holiday time release date in November or December as opposed to in July where it seems oddly out of place.

It should be a Christmas film, but it wouldn't do well if it opened a week after Star Wars TFA. And November has Mockingjay Part 2. Late summer or September or October was it's best bet. As excited as I am for all the Star wars films and the comic book films coming out over the next five years it's kind of sad that some films are going to get lost in the shuffle and not get a chance to shine.

So what's the name of the ship, the Jolly Roger or the Ranger?
