Jack Bauer DIED twice saving his country. He's executed his boss, shot his ex-mistress, told his daughter to shoot her boss, was able to get a president to confess to treason, cut off a man's head, kicked a heorin habit while saving the world and did save the world from World War 3 four times and those are just the acts that came off the top of my head.

I think...even through I've hardly seen any of 24...that Mr. McClane would win. He's defeated terrorists three times,

Jack Bauer's defeated terrorists 5 times.

Not to mention he was tortured to the point of his heart stopping, dies and then is revived back to life, then proceeded to single-handedly wipe out a group of terrorists with a bad heart.
