The Dark Knight Joker Intro Description...no Bs

aw, c'mon. miller has some cool lines. not always great, but they aren't "******ed. god damn batman...etc"

edit: wait. he ACTUALLY WROTE THAT?!!?!?!? what the hell frank...

I get the impression that it's so s#!tty so Frank is never asked to do another Batman story again.

It's just the description of the Joker pulling his mask off reminded me of a shot from Gladiator where Maximus reveals himself to the Emperor.

To clarify everyone: Joker says 'stranger', not 'stronger'...

Description sounds awesome!!

but

I can't believe they said SELECT PRINTS??! :csad:

Soooo annoying...

Either it was a crappy scene or it was a poorly written article.

I'll go with poorly written because I have no idea what actually happened. Guys on the roof, 2 guys talking, then the guys on the street, and the in the vault? He was talking gibberish. Hopefully because he was so excited by the clips awesomeness.

Have you read the MTV article???

it was in another report. it's not as generic and it makes pretty good sense for the Joker

Yeah I just read it now... Nice line... better then the cliched line the other one reported...

^^^ Stranger does sound better coming from The Joker than the old cliche stronger.

Yeah it just showed up at aicn. It could be a typo but That line makes more sense for the Joker.

Yeah so that is at least two seperate reports that say The Joker says Stranger. So I am gonna go ahead and believe that the wizard report was a mistake. It really is a much more appropriate line.

Sounds outstanding.

For those complaining about the dialogue, I have NO IDEA what you can complain about.

This is phenomenal work Nolan.....

Man, that makes that line so much better! It's so Joker-ish!

:woot:

Even though the MTV review is less complete than the Wizard one, I think it was better written. It's made me that much more excited!!

Reading the description of the prologue convinces me once and for all that this movie is going to rock !

haha i like the fact that nolan showed it in the imax theater i always go to..such ownage

Zip lines-clowns getting shot-bank manager getting pissed and gettin a grenade shoved in his throat. And this is just the first 5 minutes. What else do you need to know?

So Joker was one of the thugs and was knocking everyone else off one by one right?

Yeah, I really don't think that it is fair to try and guage the quality of a scene or writing based on a few peoples written description. All the reports say that the scene is awesome and most of the lines were probably paraphrased and not in context with how they are actually read. Nothing ever reads as well as a good actor speaking it.

The Foreshadow. I wonder if Joker dramatically taking off his mask is foreshadowing Batman dramatically taking off his. Writing-wise what happens in the first seven pages of a script foreshadows a future event. Question is why does Batman take off his mask? Speculation of course, but good writing foreshadows upcoming events.

"What do you believe in" :wow::wow::wow::wow::woot::woot::woot:
