Daredevil Jon Bernthal IS Frank Castle / The Punisher! - Part 1

I wonder if punisher will be present when it comes to fighting the hands (which I assume is the final big fighting scene in ep13)

When it comes to hand to hand fighting, punisher has no chance against those damn ninjas.

He'll be heavy and long range support. Which would explain his minigun, and the huge sniper rifle he has in the trailer.

No doubt he'll be just fine, he's fought the Sentry before and managed to come out relatively okay.

Somehow I had a feeling that punisher may end up in jail.

and he did it willingly. . He wants to kills some of the criminal in jail.

any thoughts?

That's exactly how one of the Daredevil vs Punisher comics series ends. Also, the first ever solo Punisher comic series starts with him in prison killing all the other inmates, so depending on where they draw influences from it would make plenty of sense.

Him ending up in a cell next door to Wilson Fisk would be a fun set-up for a Punisher solo series...

Seems highly likely to me. It would provide an ending that is satisfactory, while not eliminating the option for future Punisher appearances. Plus, "he wants to be in that briar patch" seems like exactly the thing to make Matt feel guilty, and guilt is what he does best.

Come on, Friday.:drl:

My hype went from maximum overload, to meltdown critical solar event. :D

Charlie Cox is yet another actor I had no idea wasn't American until this video.

Went back and watched Season 1 for the first time since it came out last April, goddamn, even better than I remembered. Another! :more:

Well, he apparently gives Matt quite a beatdown, and if Matt is a match for the Hand, then logic would really you Frank could go toe to toe with them too.

Hoping if Punisher gets his own Netflix series, they would have Fisk make an appearance since Kingpin is one of the Punisher's greatest enemies. Not sure who could top Kingpin as the villain.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Gnucchi family as a main villain myself.

Looks like I was right. :woot:

Maybe Jigsaw

5 Episodes in and I can safely say that Jon Bernthal is THE Punisher. He nailed it.

A shame that he couldn't be used in Civil War, I loved him saving Spidey and then actually making Cap snap, taking the punishment like a champ and not fighting back out of respect.

He could easily cameo in the MCU by doing black ops for Nick Fury in exchange for info/protection.

The Avengers better hope they never meet Frank Castle.

9 eps in and I have no idea how he's still alive. I think he can handle 10 encounters with the Avengers for all I know.

I'm only on episode 4, but damn Bernthal is knocking it outta the park. This is the Punisher we've been waiting for

I'm barely two episodes in but I already really dig the characterization and Bernthal's portrayal

Yet to see episode 4 but Jon (and Charlie) is downright Emmy worthy here, never once do I think of Shane, I only see Frank Castle, the whole back & forth in that episode is incredible.

Bernthal's performance is Emmy worthy for episode 4 alone...so of course they won't give it to him.
