Daredevil Jon Bernthal IS Frank Castle / The Punisher! - Part 1

Perfection! Damn I want Castle and Daredevil in the MCU films so f'n bad, even if just cameos but this Punisher having a scene with Evan's CA and Daredevil having a scene with Spidey would be so awesome.

Has there been any rumours that DD might make an appearance in Civil War?

I'm not going to lie, y'all. I had my doubts. I was starting to believe that we weren't getting the skull insignia at all but alas, Marvel never disappoints. Although Im betting that this was never intended to be revealed so early.

It's confirmed that we won't see this in the first 7 episodes or is First Avenger just assuming?

So the outfit is a faded White Skull emblem on body armor right?

So kind of a blend of the last two Punisher outfits.

why do u think is the reason for the skull? IF DD doesn't have the DD on his chest, why does punisher need a skull? it would be interesting to know what reason the tv series used

The skull is used to strike terror into the Punisher's enemies.

The DD logo is to let people know Daredevil is fond of his initials.

Well the Devil costume has a specific reason. It was what the priest said. The Devil can serve as a warning to men to scare them from doing evil deeds. He also had that story about how he saw the Devil on Earth in the form of that warlord when he was doing missionary work. But I think Matt is essentially becoming the Devil of Hell's Kitchen because 1) "Hell's" Kitchen and 2) He does it to scare criminals. Like the Devil will getcha if you mess up.

The papers called him Daredevil, but he's also called Daredevil in the comics because he's the man without fear.

I love the skull! It looks like he’s wearing some kind of body armor where the pattern/seams resemble a skull, so he decided to paint over it. That’s a really great touch. Looks like Daredevil’s mask has been changed as well; thank god…I hated the S1 version.

I'm just glad they kept the 04 Skull. It's my favorite of the Punisher movies and seems like that has become the most noticeable of all the iterations.

Well, you said it, not me ;) .

I wouldn't say they kept the 04 Skull. It does look a little different.

Yeah aside from some tiny variations i'd say its essentially the same skull, especially at first glance. Which is great, I'll always love the 04 skull.

1) He wears heavy body armor on his chest, the white skull draws fire toward the armored area, away from extremities.

2) The Deaths Head is a recurring image Frank sees in combat, when his family is murdered it followed him home

3) It becomes his signature. Even though he inspired copycats, Frank wearing the Deaths Head is the end for a lot of bad guys.

So the skull is on armor, not a t-shirt... even better. I want that mini gun pic in hi res.

We finally get the skull, and people are complaining that it's slightly worn off. Folks will find a reason to complain about anything.

I haven't seen anyone complain yet, but there's no pleasing some people. I prefer the skull when it looks a little sloppier, makes it look more like Frank did it himself and just looks badass.

The worn off/faded skull on armor is what we got in Warzone. Just that the Bernthal skull looks more like the 04 films.

Frank Castle may be an expert in combat, but holy crap is he a s***ty painter.

Love the costume design for Punisher though, the 04 skull is mean looking as hell, glad they're using it, loving the body armor with trench-coat combo as well.

He needs a tail and a pitchfork. I think that would really strike fear into the hearts of evildoers.
