In my Superman movie vision (which would be nothing like Singers) I've cast him as Luthor. Not crazy-pyschopath-criminal Luthor, but TAS/Smallville-style-business-mogul-slightly-unethical-yet-not-entirely-evil Luthor. I think he'd rule.
