If Black Tom is really the villain, where are these two?

I had that conversation earlier. I tend to think it would make a lot of sense. That being said, they shouldn't shoehorn characters if they don't fit the story.

Personally I wouldn't introduce Siryn unless they were going to move on from Vanessa as a love interest.

Juggernaut though I'd only be bothered about him appearing if they could make him more comic accurate. Refer to his stepbrother being Xavier and his powers being non-mutant and I'd be happy.

I don't think that they can make him non-mutant. Cyrorrak may be over with the Doctor Strange rights at Marvel.

Does he have a strong history with Strange or do you think just because he's a demon and magic? If so I wonder if they could make him non-mutant and either just have a different demon or just allude to a non-mutant origin.

The villain could also be Black Swan instead of Black Tom. Tim wanted to originally use that character. Or it could've evolved into Black Tom instead after his departure.

Would make sense to have them both.

Since we don't even have official confirmation on Tom yet though who knows.

Siryn had a nice cameo in X2, while Juggernaut looked awful in X3.

I would save Siryn for the X-Factor and the other one for the X-Men.

I agree.

Man, I really wonder what the storyline for this is going to be.

Siryn has too much history with X-Force, Black Tom and Deadpool to just be added strictly as a love interest. They don't need to rush that relationship in order for her to have a role in Deadpool or X-Force imo. Depends on what they want to tell here and how things are being set up down the road. I'd rather have her on X-Force then say someone like Feral.

Thing with Nessa if they follow the comics is she's headed for tragedy and a heavy arc turn. They are gonna have to go against that arc pretty heavily to do otherwise. Nothing wrong with that if the case, but I assume the filmmakers are more then aware of her eventual path.

I honestly wouldn't mind if Theresa starts as a villain under her Uncle (technically cousin)'s influence and then later reforms.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind that.

Wouldn't mind a more comic accurate look for The Juggernaut finally.

They seem to be hinting at Madelyne Pryor (in a tongue in cheek way, that only eagle-eyed fans would catch on to) in this movie so who knows what else they got up their sleeve.

That would be interesting. Though I find it hard to believe they would adapt her on film (at least accurately). Wonder if they would ever refer to her as the 'Goblin Queen' or her being a clone of Jean Grey. I still think Famke would still be great for either her or Jean on film.

I was just watching that famous Shadowcat clip recently and I said the same thing. :funny:

They writers said in an interview before the first movie was out that would love to use Hulk:

"It would be really fun to see Deadpool having to use his agility and his silliness and skills to overcome just brute force. Maybe we can figure out another way to do that with another character in the X-Men universe, but I would love to see him square up against the Hulk, it would be hilarious.”

If that's the reason why they'd like to use Hulk, Juggernault can easily replace him.

They also said in the same interview, they'd love to use Syrin as well.

So? What does that have to do with him being a non-mutant? They dont need to go into his origin here (he'd be a supporting villian anyway) and even if they .did, Cytorrak does not need to be named. Besides for what its worth, Cytorrak is an X-men creation. I doubt Marvel couldnt use it if they wanted to, considering how intimately it is tied to Juggernaut

The Crimson Bands of Cyttorak are a common Doctor Strange spell. Cyttorak himself appeared in Doctor Strange Sorcerer Supreme 44. The bands first appeared in 1964 in Doctor Strange (Strange Tales), the Gem appeared in 1965 in X-Men. I would guess they're more closely tied to Doctor Strange.

That being said, they could still say "magic" either way.

I'm not ineterested in watching talking fire bird or magic rock in X-Men movies.
Also Juggernaut won't be Xavier's stepbrother. Mystique is already stepsister.
And Juggernaut didn't look worse than Cable in this one.

I've heard rumors that Juggernaut is in the film, but has anyone heard if he looks more comic accurate in this one than in X3?

Also, I wonder if the reshoots fixed
or removed, his lacklustre "death scene"

I would definitely love to see a more comics accurate juggernaut. But I was hoping we would see that with the reboot

Was it ever officially announced that Kesy was playing Black Tom, or was that just an assumption?

Doubtful, its Deadpool!

Whats seen as [BLACKOUT]a lacklustre death[/BLACKOUT] is still something that will make audiences laugh and Deadpool is still a Comedy.
