Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

Definitely wanna see this. Just looking for some good fun and some laughs. Which is what most people should be going into this movie expecting.

You can't go into this like a Star Wars fan *****ing about it not being faithful or whatever.

No you can’t. This movie does set up that there is some sort of society in Jumanji where people live and work which is interesting. But then Jumanji itself seems like some sort of sentient living thing that needs people from our world to continue to exist. I doubt any sequel will, or even should, explore that further. At the end of the day, it should just be a fun adventure for the family.

It's not a classic, but it is good. and Karen Gillan is so sexy in this it is Legendary

It was weird hearing her use her Nebula voice when she was trying to be sexy but seeing her normal look.

I highly recommend this movie. Its so frickin funny. I actually enjoyed this movie more than the last jedi.

So did I, by a lot. Jack Black was surprisingly good at pretending to be a teenage girl trapped in an middle-aged chubby man's body, without needing to go annoyingly over the top with it. They actually handle it, surprisingly tastefully overall.

Karen Gillan being able to keep up with the other three in the comedy department was fun to see as well. I mean I knew that The Rock, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart could do comedy well, but she was quite good at it here as well.

I do think that Kevin Hart was the weak link of the main cast though.

I think what it was is that I could see traits of the younger actors reflected in the adult counterparts. Except Kevin Hart. He seemed to just be playing Kevin Hart.

^Exactly. Rock, Black, and Gillan were all tailoring their performances to make it seem like these were the younger actors in adult avatars (which they were). And doing a pretty good job of it.

Hart, was just doing his usual thing. And while I don't usually mind it too much, it stood out here in comparison to the other (and not in a good way unfortunately).

There were a few instances where it seemed like he was the actual kid at times, but I think he acted too much like a 30 something at times, doing stuff no 15-16 year old football player would do or say.

Especially Gillian (she is really a talented actress). I could actually see a lot of the younger actor she was playing.

That
seduction scene
was so funny...... laughed until my stomach hurt

She was the 11th Doctor's primary companion in Doctor Who.

Definitely worth re-watching after Jumanji.

Saw it yesterday, we really enjoyed it. It was a fun adventure, loved most of the cast (I agree with some others that Kevin Hart seemed the only one that didn't feel like a teenager trapped in an adult body... he just seemed like he was playing standard Kevin Hart).

Favorite parts are probably the...
seduction scene. Karen was awesome with that! and then when the music started *lol*
Also really loved the 'first (really really awkward and bad) kiss' between Martha and Spencer in Jumanji. That was hilarious!

Yeah, she held her own. I know it'd be intimidating as hell for someone who's not a comedian having to be funny alongside those other three but she did it.

saw it today, really enjoyed it

its fun, lighthearted, a bit cliche but makes fun of them as well

also loved Bobby Cannavale as the villain, wish he had a bit more to do

Holy Houdini,

This movie is out-grossing TLJ in the last 2 days (daily totals ...).

I still see fans of the original complain about this making money and being successful without having seen it.

This is a clear hit. #1 this weekend in the states, even above Star Wars.
