Justice League Junkie XL scoring Zack Snyder’s JL

Love how operatic and Dracula sounding Batfleck’s theme is.

That got posted online several days ago by another source. Sounds awesome

This movie may not be my ideal Justice League movie but this sure is my ideal Justice League theme. Hot damn.

It already sounds much much better than the generic and rushed theatrical cut score.

it sounds similar to mad max fury road soundtrack a bit to me.
and that is a good thing.

If it sounded closer to Holkenborg's Alita: Battle Angel, I would be happier. But instead it's more of the same MV/RC dreariness.

I love the beginning kind of techno vibe. Reminds me of the dark knight returns animated movie. That score was phenomenal.

Junkie XL used his original JL score for other movies. I definitely think he used some of it for Alita. But personally, I can't picture the League walking to Alita's score. It feels a little cartoonish. I can, however, picture them with this new score. When in sync with Snyder's visuals and action, I think it will be glorious.

PS: I liked Danny Elfman's score for JL even though it was mostly recycled stuff.

So full score is going to be released on March 18 as well

I'm watching this after work today, but listening to the score that dropped on Spotify right now, and damn, feels good hearing
Junkie's rendition of the MoS theme :hmr:

Can't wait to hear this in context tonight in the film :jd:

The highlight of the work he did mostly had to do with bringing back the scores from MOS in Superman’s scenes. The stuff with flash at the end was alright too. Overall it’s better than whatever Danny Elfman was brought in to do, but it would’ve been elevated even more if Zimmer came back to score ZSJL.

This was a vast improvement over the theatrical cut score because its more in line with the universe of the other DCEU movies instead of Danny Elfman deciding to just shoehorn his 1989 Batman theme and the Donner Superman theme into the movie.

Oh i loved the new theme. It still had that nightmarish sound to it but more heroic! It gave me goosebumps when it player at full volume on that EPIC shot of Batman on the Gargoyle.

Ive been listening to the score today during work and Junkie really went in on this. The Amazon chanting is....gonna take some getting used to. But when i watched the movie i REALLY felt the score amp up during the action scenes and it really helped make me feel adrenalized.

I don't remember single damn thing about Danny Elman's score for JL 2017 and while it won't be one of my favorite scores I still very much enjoyed what Junkie XL brought here.

Batman's theme and how the MOS score was reutilized stood out to me the most, because eventhough it wasn't used whole lot damn did it hard during that Flight scene in his Black Suit.

I simply loved that the JL motif is sprinkled throughout the film, and incorporated into each character's theme as well. That Flash theme is just godly.

watch
MOS theme in this
