I'm glad the film opens with a dino attack, since every movie has had that except for Jurassic World. Not that it would have made sense in the context of that movie since it was a fully operational park with no incidents, but still...

Yeah, almost a tradition

Intro sounds awesome, as does the helicopter scene.

How long until someone starts shouting "Meg rip-off!!111".

How long until someone starts shouting "Meg rip-off!!111".

Considering this comes out two months before The Meg and the Mosasaurus was established in Jurassic World three years ago, it's more likely to be the other way around.

Oh, I wouldn't doubt the stupidity of some on the Internet.

That poster is effing awesome. After reading about that footage they showed at Cinemacon I am actually getting more and more hyped for this movie.

Though to be fair the Meg concept art predates the Jurassic World movie by some years which features a similar shark in the wave (which itself has been around for decades).

That poster just makes me want a really well done giant crocodile film like Lake Placid.

There was also a virtually identical shot in The Shallows.

Is it just me that thinks the main dinosaur they're using as the 'bad dinosaur' - don't know how else to describe it - looks really weak?

It doesn't look to be a patch on the T-Rex or Indominous Rex from JW.

Will comment on this when I see the movie.

It's an Indoraptor, whatever that is. Not as big as either of them but it's more of a movie monster type thing as you've seen from the trailers. Small enough to be stealthy and creep through a goddamn house.

I didnt notice until I saw the trailer on the big screen, but the thing can also climb down walls headfirst like dracula. It crawls down an outside wall and looks in the little girl's room window.
