Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - Part 1

Real dinosaurs are just more interesting in my opinion. I didn't care at all about that made up dinosour in the last movie. The movies just feel more real if they use the ones that really existed.

But JW already confirmed the Jurassic Park dinosaurs were never supposed to be like the real ones. Like Grant also stated in JP3, they're "genetically engineered theme park monsters." Nothing more, and nothing less.

If you want to see real dinos, you got loads of documentaries man.

Yep. Again, the raptors & dilophosaur in the original were pretty damn different to how the animals actually were, too. Not like this series has been all that accurate.

Sure liberties were probably taken in the depictions of the new species they showed in the Spielberg & Johnston sequels too, it didn't just start with World.

To be fair, can you prove that they didn't eat fat people in cars? :oldrazz:

I liked that bedroom scene. Creepy stuff. Visually it looks better than the last movie, but everything else? It looks like The Lost World thematically. Christ, another stare in wonder ****ing shot of the brontosaur? What else is there to say with these movies? Maybe there's more but this doesn't look like this is it.

Make a Jurassic World movie about the planet being overrun by dinosaurs. Then we'll talk. You need to move this into a new direction. Gone are the days of trying to be like the first movie. It's a fourth sequel about dinosaurs. It's okay. Go bonkers.
A planet overrun by dinosaurs sounds like a movie The Rock would star in. No thanks.

Dinos in Jurassic series are not 100 % accurate to real Dinos and the reason was given in the first movie itself, but they are close enough.. all they need is few changes in appearance, like size, feathers and in some cases, the way they move (especially T-Rex)

So, are you saying I shouldn't pitch my sequel where they build the park on a space station?

But they were close enough to the real dinosaurs. They weren't completely made up.

Not really. Velociraptors came about up to your knee (though there was a real dinosaur closer to the movie raptors, Deinonychus I think it was called).

Dilophosaurs were big-ass things like 15-20ft long, and the neck-cowl and venom-spitting stuff was totally made up for the movie. Made up, not like "the science thought that was true at the time but doesn't anymore", it was fictional in '93 too.

So, the making up dinosaurs as a plot trick with the DNA sequencing is different, yeah, but really not all that much. The little bastard that killed Nedry didn't exist, they just slapped a real dinosaur's name on it.

And while similar dinosaurs to the movie velociraptor were real, they sure as hell weren't velociraptors. Your pet household dog would kick a raptor's ass.

This is fiction-land, and that's half the fun of it.

Our first look at the Indoraptor from the toy fair. I personally love the look of this theme. The color of it, the red eyes and the little bit of yellow along it’s body. This thing looks pretty creepy. Also I saw it looks as if this thing can move around on all four limbs. There was a shot of in it package and some art on the box of it standing upright and also down on all fours.

Ah yes, I really like the look of that. These guys look good with ridges on their skull, frills at the back of their head and some spikes on their back.

I think the scary thing is, it looks like it has an opposable thumb.

Which circle of hell did they find that thing in?

Already got a release date for a third film June 11, 2021. Hope JW2 is as good as that second trailer.

We all know Blue is gonna end up fighting one.
