Wut. It was an Easter egg for everyone that hates that scene in JP3. Different island/Rex doesn't change that.

And yeah, JP3 sucked, I'm sad to say.

damn, everyone must love that guy, everyone stuck up for him.

No one for me, so sad, lmao

Anyhow, all good fun

looking like 200 million for the weekend

sounds awesome

82 million Friday
72 million Sat

MORE than $200m most likely. I think this is about to snatch the OW record. :wow:

Looks like OW's record has been breaking once every year now, or so it seems like it. I won't be surprised if either Batman V. Superman or Civil War break it again next year.

saw it earlier today. Loved it!!

did have a question about the end, though.

were all the survivors at the end still on the island or were they already off island?

if they were still on the island, wouldn't they still be in danger cuz y'know a T-Rex is wandering about?

I assumed they got on the Ferry's/were over by that area to get onto the ferry's away from Main Street there

So this is going to take the OW record and could potentially make over 210 million OW...

Crazy!

Totally different island man, that was Isla Soran.

Different
T-REX

sorry, some people liked JP3

I am one of them....

It still exists in the timeline

sorry to burst your bubble bro!!

You're splitting hairs. Like JP3 or not, the "Spinosaurus killing T-Rex" end to that fight was awful.

The guys at JW thought so too, enough to have T-Rex ravage through the Spinosaurus skeleton.

I would've happily watched a complete movie of the park running smoothly with people enjoying the attractions. I loved all that. It had such a feelgood vibe. And I'm listening to the soundtrack today as well, and it's good too. The JW theme Giacchino made is a real grower.

Amazing score by Giacchino

Indeed.

Loved seeing the old visitors centre, and boy, it was overgrown to the point of being nearly unrecognisable. The old JP jeeps were awesome to see again too.

I thought this film was just going to be alright but it was even way better than I expected. I actually enjoy TLW and 3 and find those underrated but this one is definitely the best sequel by far!

Loved that also, and of course the
night vision goggles
:cwink:

Was the younger brothers obsession with numbers throughout the entire movie just a build up to him saying
"We need more teeth!"?

Yeah, that was all good stuff.

Oh, and the bored guy attending the gyrosphere ride was hilarious.

Lego Jurassic World looks like a must buy from what I've seen too. There's a first 15 minutes gameplay video out. Even in Lego form, exploring something basic like the dig site in Montana is thrilling. Nostalgia overload.

I think the franchise is back on top, which is great.

Grabbed my copy for ps4 earlier today, just about to fire it up as we speak.

I was underwhelmed by the score after everyone here building it up and suggesting that it was proof of Guacchino being the second coming of Williams. I found that the original elements of the score were really missing the use of memorable, memorable leitmotifs that characterizes so much of Wlliams' best work. I can't remember a single hummable tune from the score other than some wonderful rearrangements of Williams' previous work on the franchise.
