The Dark Knight Just got back from the advanced showing, no spoilers what so ever

...of course the epic music I have playing right now wasn't helping while I read it.

This movie really looks like the first highly anticipated movie that might still blow me away.

Just imagine this movie blowing us away considering how high our expectations are. If Nolan succeeds on that level for most of us, that is truly amazing. Not many directions are capable of this, not on this grand of a scale.

I'm very excited, this could be one of my favorites from the looks of it.

There is a finale between Batman and Joker but it isn't THE finale. The only clip from it in the trailers is when Joker says "And Here We Go!"
They gave out some gotham times newspapers, in the middle spread it was blank with "ha ha ha, LOSERS!" written.

Nathan, my only worry for the movie based on pics is that 2 Face's sfx job is quite visibly cg looking (especially THAT eye ...)

I know you're on a high for the movie at the moment, but in all honesty, how good does it look on screen?

Without giving precise details of his apperance away, obviously, as we're here in Non-Spoiler land, was it generally speaking lifelike/photoreal in your opinion?

Or was it a bit dodgy at times like something out of The Mummy?


Also, were you moved by Harvey's fate?

I HATE CGI. But this was good, the eye was ok, I think if they tried harder with it, it would look more fake..

Plenty of goon masks throughout the film.

I'm not sure, I didn't watch anything like that before the movies came out

I need to go see it again, as I said, my mind is kind of blank after watch Heath Ledger. Seriously, he should go down in history for his role.
