Not the way it's proposed. It's canon in All-Star Superman. It's not canon in any Superman that's participated with a Justice League.

That would be like saying Ultimate Captain America should be usable with the Avengers, simply because Ultimate Captain America is canon somewhere.

Proper Superman had trouble lifting a plane in Doomsday wars

For every awesome feat theres another that contradicts it..why do you even bother?

Noone even mentioned Goku.

That said The league beats the Ginyu force unless Ginyu does a body change on Superman or something then things get very interesting

Gokou could himself in Fruiza saga beat everyone there in his base, later, when he was more powerful in the Boo arc, he had problem lifting 40 ton's in his base but he could probably kill every member of the Ginyu force in a single punch, and Superman who can lift a helluva lot more (even canon Superman can) would **** them up with a touch.

well, if you're talking about JL, you have to take in account the Silver Age's Justice League of America as well... Silver Age Superman was part of the Justice League.

The 40 ton thing was stupid. Goku could hurt Frieza with punches in his base(a being who could survive a planets explosion.) Whether he could lift it or not Gokus punches pack more than the force of a planets explosion.
So you're not saying much by throwing that little tidbit around.
Lets not also forget that Arale knocked GeneralBlue all the way to Egypt in DB and General Blue also threw a log all the way across a darn continent. And Goku has long surpassed them in strenth. And their feats surpass what someone who can't lift 40 tons can do. And the Ginyuforce is even way stronger than that also.

it all really comes down to captain ginyu's ability to swap bodies...

if he did this efficiently enough, he could tear up the league from within itself.

also that dude that could stop time (or people's movements), gordo could also play and important factor.

the only ace in the league would be the latern since he doesn't have a power reading, he will be highly underestimated.

if i'm being fair, i would give it to the league on numbers though. you can't ever expect five people to take on seven.

Well, he didn't really tell us, but if that were the case, then it wouldn't really matter, we could come up with any sort of fight where nobody BUT Superman would really be needed. Or someone can come back and say that they're using the VERY original Superman.

I'm assuming he meant non-canon, as in it's not the featured JLA, but just members of a JLA built up of their current counterparts.

only the characters from the tv show same with dbz.


now as far as the fight heres my prediction.

super girl could probably handle burter with a some help from hawk girl

captain marvel would own jace. remember captain marvel has the strenght of zeus king of the gods and the endurance of atlas( the guy who held the earth on his back for millions of years.)

flash and the lantern could hurt gordo even though he would freeze them a few times .

wonder woman could handle captain ginyu remember she has put a hurting on Ares and Hades greek gods before, but it would be close. if giinyu switche bodies with her after captain marvel owned jace he could hold her off until they find away to e switch.

supes and racoom would duke it out, but eventually the other guys would show. if supes super girl and wonder woman show up its over for racoom.

if one of the the ginyu members decide to use a blow up the planet technique the lantern could hold it off until supes super girl or captain marvel got to him.

it would be a tough fite but JLU WOULD PULL IT OUT.

what's the point of omitting body swapping, it's quite clearly captain ginyu's most powerful move and he is certainly going to use it to the best of his ability.

why put it to one side before you make your case?
