I'm just sick of DC films getting constantly bad reviews while all other cbm films are met with positive to acclaimed reviews.

And i tried doing that with BvS, went in with an open and excited mind, later left the theatre in absolute disappointment for a film i spent years getting hyped about and had more than 18,000 posts dedicated to said film lol.

I really didn't like BvS and all the excitement i had for the Justice League is gone with Snyder at the helm.

I get this frustration but I feel primarily one should be upset that the movie didn't please them than get critically acclaimed. Also the RT meter isn't an absolute and final verdict on the quality of a film. They are firstly opinions. There are movies I love that aren't critically acclaimed and critically acclaimed films I hated. It's really not that big of a deal.

That sucks for sure but disappointments will happen. I'm upset that the film didn't please me too. But it isn't the end of the world.

This is also understandable. I can't say I'm excited for his Justice League either. I can only hope for the best. I like the cast.

The cast are absolute perfection! And i'm glad that they mostly have directors to do their film Justice, wish I could say the same for this film tho.

A friend and I talked about this earlier in the day and I thought that she had raised a good point. Basically, she thinks that it's possible that Superman's role could end up being as big as Vision's role in AOU, which would mean that Superman would probably only enter the film close to the start of the third act in order to join the fight.

On one hand, we have to worry on whether Superman will have a lot of screen time or not. Then we have to also worry about on whether he'll be brought in as a villain. And even after all that, we have to worry on how the damn film will end up looking like in terms of edits and whether or not it'll actually make sense. And don't get me started on how the other characters could go wrong as well with Snyder at the helm.

These days DC fans and worry go hand in hand with Snyder.

Him leaving the Justice League film for a better director is health insurance for us, all that worry turns into hype and so forth.

Jeremy Irons (?) Not confirmed but you frikin can't leave Jeremy Irons out of it.

I expect a similar situation to happen where Snyder will have to cut his 3 hour film into a 2 hour one, thus losing a lot of footage in the process and resulting in a badly edited film.

And I think Superman will be the sacrificial lamb in this as he will have the least amount of ST.

Don't ask me why I think this but I think they may introduce General Sam Lane into this movie.They've been trying to ever since MOS (He was in an early draft) and was rumoured for Suicide Squad as well.

It is very frustrating. There isn't going to be much joy in waiting for this film just fear and nervousness.

If I stick around I will actually try not to be negative about everything when I discuss things that come out about the film.

And this problem can be easily fixed by editing out or forgetting all together scenes that do nothing to develop the main story. So many of those in BvS....

At least we will have crap and low expectations. Even if everything looks awesome, we clearly know that it doesnt mean anything. Best to await JL with tempered or no expectations because it may just may surprise us

Otherwise it will be another visually well polished finely combed piece of platinum encrusted turd
