People are so dumb. Taking SGS is the best decision they have done. He's a no one, no good, nobody. Unproven. Untested for one of the biggest superheroes ever.

And don't tell me about Tim Miller. He's a great director of shorts and worked on a ton of stuff. This guy SGS is just some dude who had connections.

Brad Bird is doing Incredibles 2. I agree that nobody should be devastated. I find SGG charming on twitter but he was never a great choice.

Same. The guy is pretty funny and seems great but in the director chair, I've not really been a fan. I feel Ezra Miller, with an actor of his chops, needs better than that to get the most out of him.

You seem pretty sure that he was an excellent choice without any proof.

Snyder isn't a "yes" man and BvS **** the bed for lack of a better term.

Nah you are talking about this guy like he is amazing and that's odd to me. I mean that is your business but I don't get it nor do I agree with it.

And you think that people are kissing WB's ass by not crying over a director whom has only co-directed two RJ Burger episodes. I am enraged at WB right now, I'm enraged that they allowed BvS to be such a crappy film but I'm not going to pretend that SGG was the finest director in town.

I think there is a good chance that David Ayer would have made a better BvS movie than Snyder. I know it is easy to say that now, and we don't know how SS will turn out. He is a heck of a writer actually in addition to having director some very good movies. If SS ends up being very good, really hope they snatch back the control from Snyder for DC movies.

I think there is a good chance that David Ayer would have made a better BvS movie than Snyder. I know it is easy to say that now, and we don't know how SS will turn out. He is a heck of a writer actually in addition to having director some very good movies. If SS ends up being very good, really hope they snatch back the control from Snyder for DC movies.

I'll admit that I'm doing some Monday Morning Quarterbacking here but I just think that it was such a mistake to hand the DC film reigns over to a director whom doesn't care about characters as much as visuals. I really do hope that Suicide Squad is as good as it looks.

Absolutely! I'm in the same boat, and yes recognize there is hindsight at play here. Definitely feeling Snyder in control is a mistake after what happened with BvS. It's hard to feel otherwise for me. If JL manages to at least get back up to MOS level, I'll be happy but felt we got knocked back from progression after BvS.

I just caught up on the Flash news and Aquaman rumour. The infighting between Wb and Snyder doesn't surprise me if true.

On SGS leaving: Even though he isn't directing I hope he sticks around the project instead of even more rewrites.

On the negativity in this thread: Go outside, take a walk, meet someone new. Don't let your life revolve around the DCEU and irrational hatred of Zack Snyder consume your soul.

Reading up on what's being reported it's staggering to me Geoff Johns of all people was shocked at the BvS reception. Johns is often pointed to as being the person who should be running the DC film show over at WB, but the shear fact BvS caught him off guard, couple with his nonsense talk of calling GL the next Star Wars 5 years ago has me believing that despite his background he is not the person to ever be in charge of DC on film.
