This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]513667[/split]
Brad Bird is doing Incredibles 2. I agree that nobody should be devastated. I find SGG charming on twitter but he was never a great choice.People are so dumb. Taking SGS is the best decision they have done. He's a no one, no good, nobody. Unproven. Untested for one of the biggest superheroes ever.
And don't tell me about Tim Miller. He's a great director of shorts and worked on a ton of stuff. This guy SGS is just some dude who had connections.
Bring in Brad Bird and someone who gives a s***

You seem pretty sure that he was an excellent choice without any proof. We'll see just how many people are really happy when all WB can get is a yes man to direct the movie
Because they're not getting an Edgar wright, Brad bird or even a Doug Liman

*crossing fingers* I do have more faith in the SS director to be honestI think Suicide Squad being good would be good news.

How much are selling your Time Machine for sir?
Nah you are talking about this guy like he is amazing and that's odd to me. I mean that is your business but I don't get it nor do I agree with it.I'm not, but I'll take the untested guy who was hired on potential over some guy who's just there to do a job

I'll admit that I'm doing some Monday Morning Quarterbacking here but I just think that it was such a mistake to hand the DC film reigns over to a director whom doesn't care about characters as much as visuals. I really do hope that Suicide Squad is as good as it looks.I think there is a good chance that David Ayer would have made a better BvS movie than Snyder. I know it is easy to say that now, and we don't know how SS will turn out. He is a heck of a writer actually in addition to having director some very good movies. If SS ends up being very good, really hope they snatch back the control from Snyder for DC movies.
Absolutely! I'm in the same boat, and yes recognize there is hindsight at play here. Definitely feeling Snyder in control is a mistake after what happened with BvS. It's hard to feel otherwise for me. If JL manages to at least get back up to MOS level, I'll be happy but felt we got knocked back from progression after BvS.I'll admit that I'm doing some Monday Morning Quarterbacking here but I just think that it was such a mistake to hand the DC film reigns over to a director whom doesn't care about characters as much as visuals. I have a feeling that WB already took over the DCEU from Zack. It wouldn't surprise me if everything he does from now on has to go through them for approval
He actually wrote a sequel to Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter and the main character gets erections when he drinks blood.Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter 2: Coffin of Doom?!
