what did she say
To answer the Randolph question from before:
She said they need to simplify how the DC Films division operates (she basically wants it to be a full on subsidiary rather than a division of DC Entertainment or have DC Films answer to Silverman directly like Feige and Horn) and who Berg and Johns answer to since Johns answers to Nelson while Berg is for Silverman. Of course she is unsure if Johns is the right person for the job cause he may have too much on his plate with DC Comics going through another major reboot with Rebirth. Of course she says that the New 52 is seen as a slight against Johns as it lost many readers from the original continuity, but that's another debate along with you guessed it GL. She then suggests that Dini and Timm probably would have been a more preferable choice due to their success with the DCAU, their good will with both WB and fans, and their experience with these characters. I always thought they should be used in a consultant level of capacity, but wouldn't mind a Feige capacity with Berg there to help them with the medium.
Sean Bean of Zack Snyder movies.

I'm just sick of not moving forward with comics, it's just like the medium does nothing other than recycle the same stuff over and over again.
For this film...
We need less of this...

What in your mind is "moving forward"?
Superhero comics isn't the medium. It's a genre of comics. Comics is the medium. Superhero comics inherently "recycle the same stuff over and over". That's why they're analogous to heroic myths. Myths are told over and over with variations and updates. Superhero comics, unlike other genres, are continuously ongoing. Maybe you never really liked it for what it truly is.
I'm just sick of not moving forward with comics, it's just like the medium does nothing other than recycle the same stuff over and over again.
I prefer completed stories which is why I buy the full graphic novels and not the monthly issues, which means I'm usually a good 9-12 month behind everyone else in their reading. I like the concept of superheroes but I don't particularly care for the recycled story telling that's prevalent. Hell, I'd be satisfied if they were to just keep characters dead once they're killed off. But hey, that's just me.
Then it sounds like your interest is cursory. That's fine. Anyone can like any aspect to any degree, but you're asking superhero comics to change just for you and be something they aren't.
Other people appreciate retellings because they provide different takes and updates to modernity. Perhaps stories don't need to change because it's worth repeating. These modern myths have ancient archetypes. The whole concept of superheroes isn't anything new. It's a tradition and traditions are repetitious.
No, I'm asking them to not be reliant on the past.
