There's nothing wrong with a 3 hour movie. There's nothing wrong with a "grim dark" CBM.

Let's keep in mind a quote from Snyder about the cuts. He believed that he could create a good movie, and still cut out those 30 minutes.

“We were just like, ‘Okay, look. We’re not making a three-hour movie. I mean, even I didn’t want to make a three-hour movie,” Snyder says. “I drove the cuts probably harder than anyone. The studio, they were willing to let the movie indulge pretty hard. But I felt like it’s at a manageable two-and-a-half hours. Let’s also not forget the credits are super long, the end credits. So the movie’s closer to two hours and 22 minutes.”

Something tells me for Justice League I don't think WB will be as Indulgent with Snyder as they where here. Luckily I think one of the bugged criticisms and some of the more disjointed scenes in BVS the JL teases will be a non issue in Justice League.

There's nothing wrong with a 3 hour movie. There's nothing wrong with a "grim dark" CBM. Just let the filmmakers do their thing and don't cut just for the sake of cutting. I'd rather a filmmaker give me their vision than give me what I want. I want to see how they envision the property. I already know how my own version would look. Gimme something different.

I want to see a good vision.

Yeah I've seen too many films where the "director's vision" turns out to be horribly misguided, or complete crap, to fully adhere to that notion. Studios interfering can sometimes be a bad thing. But given director's too much personal control, can sometimes be just as bad.

Nah, its always on the studio. They didn't have to let Snyder do all that cutting, even if he wanted it. This is where WB needs to step up with JL.

Full on First ever pic of the live action JL dropping on a Thursday night? Well with the added silence on this production I could see it. I also wonder if we are going to get those muted, grayish colored pics of the main characters like the first Superman/Batman/Aquaman photos for BVS.

Oh man. If they release something this week, hope it doesn't get drowned by all the negativity. I worry I can't excited because of this.

30+ minutes of new footage is going to be like watching a Batman v Superman film for the first time in some sense. And then we get Suicide Squad the month after.
