Justice League script review

I am officially taking the stance that unless WB, George Miller, DC Comics, etc makes a statement,
The thing is I don't think Miller, WB, or DC will make a comment. It's just like people say about when and IF MoS gets canned no one will ever make a official announcement.

If they can make it like a live action version of the JL/JLU cartoon than it'd be something that all ages could enjoy.

Superman and Batman have to be the lead characters. They're the main reason people will see this movie. WB may be stupid, but they're not that stupid. At least not in the last couple of years. :cwink:

Ok I should take a step backwards...

It may be fake, it may not be. But what is the point of having the Crime Syndicate from another Earth that Lord somehow captured, when he can just get one of his Omacs to take over Superman?

Im just having a hard time to believe Ultraman and crew are in this movie...

Thank you, I was lost there for a moment.:cwink::yay:
Hey, spideymoviesfan, about that script thing I said, was that funny HaHa or funny stupid?
Funny ha ha, I just like the way you said it. Plus it was exactly what I was thinking.
i wish wb could do a serious film and not have it totally geared to kids/family.
I understand WB not wanting to do a serious film like BB, SR, and TDK but at least do something like "Spider-man" not too kid friendly like "Sky High" but at least something a whole family would enjoy not something that a 7 year old would have to drag his parent to go see. I'll tell you what, a TF like JL movie ain't looking so bad right now.

Once again I agree with you Norman.

p.s. Bob Saget is ****ing cool.

All you have to do is ****ing look at the one line quoted from the initial script review

The visitor informs the gang that their world is “at an end”

That is one quote used. Is it coincidence that the one line from the movie he uses happens to be the EXACT quote from Fantastic Four when an odd looking alien arrives on our planet.

Every person buying into this right now is doing it because it plays perfectly into their own, stupid, immature bias against this film. You guys hated it from the beginning and you are thusly jumping on every scrap of filth you can find so that you can ***** about this movie.

Guys - get over yourselves.

Hmmm I didn't pick that up.... good job StorminNorman

It was J'onn indicating that the world is "at an end" that tipped me, too, to a point.

Because the world isn't ending. Max Lord just has a vendetta against superheroes. And why would J'onn just SHOW up knowing the Omacs exist? Why else is he on Earth?

I totally did not trust Rob but hes proven with JL he knows his ****; if he says its real than its real; and seeing as hes been semi suporting the project if he says it sucks then it SUCKS.

"Rob" got suckered into believing the JLA short cast list included half the cast of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS this week, which he then retracted, saying he'd been had. But hey, he says it's legit, right?

One way or another things will unravel tomorrow. If it is a fake, no way WB is going to let this BS float around this long. I maintain - I want to hear what El Mayimbe and Stax have to say.

Reread the review - their is no mention of the Superman v. Batman fight. There is no mention of the Superman v. Wonder Woman fight. There is no mention of a man (or Talia) behind Maxwell Lord.

The fact they have Batman has a small role contradicts everything we have heard from day one.

Again - the lack of quotes, the fact the script includes Johnny Quick, Supergirl, OWLMAN! and POWER RING! is laughable.

There is no mention of the Flash having a Wonder Crush either - a point that this review would of mentioned, considering how he boasted how much he liked the Flash character.

The reason they are not there is because this is not the full script. This is for the effects guys. Batman is one of the least FX intensive characters by his very nature. So that does not mean Batman is not really in the script. Same deal with Maxwell Lord and Talia.

That's just it. The reviewer didn't mention anything of value. He poo-pooed a script that, from what I can see, there's no reason to hate based on the info he gave us.

If WB is confident in their product, I imagine they could care less about fake script reviews or lousy script reviews. Because the fans won't make this movie a success or failure. The general public will.

Maybe not, but if a lot of major outlets pick it up, they are bound to respond directly or indirectly. Anyone remember Daniel Craig's "fansite".

But a fight between Batman and Superman would be an FX fight.

And certainly a fight between Wonder Woman and Superman would probably be the biggest CGI scene in the movie.

This review has no credibility at all.

What I would like to know is IF the script is real what does WB do? Do they tamper with the script or do they just roll with the punches and continue making the movie.

Either way we should hear some news about all this tomorrow or with in the coming days.

I don't know.

But again - Its a moot point.

You don't hire George Miller to do a live action cartoon - Happy Feet was given rave reviews because of its deeper messages, in fact it was that reason that brought out critics amongst Conservatives.

Again, IF this is real, WB has already decided to go with some variation of the project. I would imagine, if they're confident enough to spend 160 million plus on it, that they're somewhat confident with their concept and script.

they can do whatever the f**k they wanna do. if the vast majority of the fanbase is pissed about this, then they might consider some changes. or, they wont care and do what they think is right.
