They're not going to halt a project this size over some fan backlash. It just won't happen. It has never happened, and it never will. There is too much money to be made off the general public to let fans dictate a franchise's future.

BATMAN 5 didn't happen because the general public didn't embrace BATMAN & ROBIN. SUPERMAN LIVES died because even WB saw the trainwreck it was becoming. JJ Abrams SUPERMAN died because of director interest. BATMAN AND SUPERMAN didn't happen because Wolfgang bailed to direct TROY. BATMAN: YEAR ONE didn't happen because it wasn't the direction WB wanted to go in the first place. GREEN LANTERN, THE FLASH and WONDER WOMAN haven't happened because WB hasn't found scripts they're happy with and doesn't want to risk massive budgets and potential low returns. WB doesn't halt films just because fans hate the concepts they're going with. Heck, look at CATWOMAN.

they can do whatever the f**k they wanna do. if the vast majority of the fanbase is pissed about this, then they might consider some changes. or, they wont care and do what they think is right.

You bring up a couple of options, and THAT is exactly why I asked my question. We'll see.

What Clint reviewed appears to be the first 14 pages of a script. I have problems with it though, Where is Brother Eye that Batman builds?

I also read these pages and it's just ****ing horrible and I hope to god that its bogus.

Once I received the PDF we started doing research on Justice League and none of it makes sense. The story lines are 100% off of known storylines.

I am going back and forth with Clint to find out if its true or not.

Let you know soon, that is why we have been holding off posting an IESB review.

yea I hope this doesnt end up being totally geared towards little kids/teens and family. I dont see why they cant do a film more serious/mature but keep it a little light and all that. Something for hardcore jla fans and something for families.

I'm not trying to jump on the hate bandwagon as I'm not an uber-fan to begin with, but I'm inclined to agree. This just feels too soon for a project this massive. Wonder Woman, Flash, even Green Lantern...all of the aforementioned are characters that could benefit first from a solo film.

This all seems like some kind of who-has-the-bigger-sausage competition between Marvel and DC on who can get an established superhero society to the big screen first.

Final results? Clint was had, we can confirm that these 14 pages were 100% bull****, thank god.

Clint is one of the most reliable guys on the web and it just shows that nobody is perfect.

Yes hopefully the real script does the characters to justice and it isnt all kid/family geared towards. I could see it doing well for adults/ teens-kids by being serious/mature toned with some lighthearted moments here and there.

This happens all the time - something comes out, everybody gets pissed, and the information turns out to be fake. What a surprise.

I guess those Smallville fans will have to find something else to make themselves feel better because this script has been well received.
