He seems especially the rudest to Ming like for example in the beginning of the episode where Walt is asking what is the greatest superhero fight in comics and he then teases Ming for choosing Superman vs. Batman but not specifying what comic issue.

And yet Walt said his favorite was Hulk vs. The Thing but he didn't say which comic or which issue number, I mean c'mon man, the Hulk and Thing have fought endlessly over the years, why does everybody pick on Ming because he's Asian?

They pick on Ming in a joking way. They're all buddies, Ming is just the **** pump of the group. The reason he asked a particular issue was because Ming is kind of comic book fan poser, despite being on the show and co-hosting a comic book based podcast.
Also, they have a fair amount of stories of Ming ****ing stuff up. The teasing is kind of warranted.

Its funny how so many people seem to think that this show is pure reality. On "TESD" they went on about it for a while, calling people ******ed if they think that AMC just sends camera's there and waits for the cool stuff to happen.

The people with the items are scheduled in, the guys know what they're bringing so they can read up on it, and have a better idea of what they are looking for, and how much it'll be priced.
They don't just randomly decide to shoot a commercial or dress like zombies. The plan it a head, they for the most part are acting as their persona's.

I have my doubts about that yard sale. That guy had much comic-book/sci-fi related memorabilia (which would likely equate with hobby knowledge) but he just put it all in a yard sale. Impossible? No. Likely? Not really.

I don't see whats so unbelievable here. They put a casting call to people with **** to sell. They screen the people, see what it is they want to try and sell, if they think it'd be worth it to have the people on the show, the give them a time and day to show up.

For 'TV' reasons they shoot things like Walt saying, 'I have to call in my Godzilla export', but they know way a head of time who is coming in, and have Rob Bruce hanging out off camera.

Do people actually expect them to leave the camera rolling 9-5, seven days a week? just HOPING that someone comes in with something interesting?

A trust the guys that are on the show are being honest about how they make the show.

I really don't see anything that would suggest they'd lie, or that these people are actors. I'm well aware other shows allegedly do it, but Bry & Walt would definitely be honest about it on TESD.

Did anybody here know that Walt was a comic book artist? I think his recent work was Batman The Widening Gyre written by who else than Kevin Smith! He's no Jim Lee and his art is decent but I think the computer coloring helps the drawings look vibrant.
