This is not just devout followers who liked his book I assume? I kind
of wish they would expand on what his appeal truly is, looks like most
in the house never really met Joe before, but his message touched them
in such a crazy way, what is the message he is preaching them
(outside of how to find the soft spot to stab) what do they get
out of it? Some sort of afterlife promise? Or they just like the way
Joe makes them feel?

Also, still kind of waiting to see what the FBI lady is up to, she
gave that book to Joe early on, then hasn't really shown any other
communication from there, what did she gain by giving him the book?

So Lamont Bishop is the new top FBI guy and the dude from that failed buddy cop show on USA is Roderick. I'm interested to see more of Roderick's back story as he seems more independent than the other followers.

I was very tense watching last night, afraid they were going to kill off Shawn Ashmore's character. It would have upset me greatly as he is one of my favorties.

Yeah I like his dynamic with Hardy, I still don't think he turns, I think he's the counter point follower, his hero is Ryan.

Wow, this weeks episode was creepy and disturbing as hell, I loved it ha ha! Possibly the best episode so far for me, really glad they didnt kill off Iceman, I thought they were going to.

I still think the FBI female agent who is an expert on cults has something to hide, she just seems a little off, especially when they found Roderick and co. A very strong series so far though, loving it.

Okay, I'm still into this show after finally watching the last ep from my DVR.

With that being said, the suspension of disbelief is getting harder to maintain.

Insofar, the killers' side has always been proven to be brilliant, especially with their pre-planning. Yet this time, they let themselves get caught by a ******g motel camera??? Especially bad is that this was directly and personally led by Roderick himself, who's been presented as some kind of master planner with backups to backups.

That was crazy! I don't think iceman has turned. Finding Claire is Joe's top priority, and a torture confession would be the only way he could get her to Joe without his superiors being suspicious.

Now I'm torn between whether the FBI follower is cult lady or the new guy. They both were aware that Iceman was sent home, and I'm assuming that's how the followers knew. Plus cult lady stated specifically that she knew Iceman was the only one who knew where Claire was, so that's how the followers knew to go after him. Maybe charlie hacked into the hotel door, but I'd be more inclined to believe that got a key card from an agent. At first I thought they were being sloppy with hiding followers, but I'm loving how they make every agent look suspicious.

Season 2 with two different followings for Roderick and Joe going head to head?

I could be happy with this. It would likely mean he'll be in the next season as well.

I've started to go down that path too. I think Hunter Rider said a while back that you just have to go with suspension of disbelief, because after the first 4 or so episodes, the plans upon plans upon plans that Joe had to lay in place to pull all of this stuff off was just getting ridiculous.

That is one reason why I'm really not excited that there's going to be a second season. This is an awesome premise, but one that would be better served in a film or a mini-series. I just don't see this being able to sustain two seasons without it starting to feel completely ridiculous.
