Kevin Williamson's 'The Following'

I been enjoying this season so far I don't see the glaring errors in writing that I hear in many of the past post. As far as this past episode I thought it was great and what a answer to Ryan Hardy with that cult chick.

Plenty of shows have taught me to be ready for any twist possible, but at this point, I think it's safe to say Ashmore's on Team Hardy.

the series could have ended last night had they added this scene with Joe at the end. :woot::woot:

Wow, didnt expect Roderick to go out of this show so quickly, unless some mad twist happens and he didnt die, although that would be bad even for this show. Was glad to see the FBI finally get one over on Joe, although Claire's fate doesnt look good.

This episode was very good. It had tension and finally things went well for the FBI...well not so fast. The whole scene with the cult girl in the police station was handled so poorly.

They know how crazy the cult members are, and they know they use women to do crazy stuff. Why wasn't she in handcuffs or had all sharp object, including jewelry, removed from her person. Jeebus, that drove me crazy that they would just leave her free like that.

I'm glad they got Joey...finally. After all the stupid moves to leave him alone in the dark house so he could get kidnapped again was so irritating.

I thought Joe was a gonner when Claire stabbed him.

I wonder where this show is going to go in season two because it doesn't look like Joe and his cult are going to make it out intact or alive.

Tonight was fantastic. Best since the pilot. Thank God team Hardy finally got a win.

Agreed old bean!

It surprised me twice, first I thought they were going to play silly buggers with Iceman and Roderick somehow missing each other by inches all episode, then I thought after they got Joey they were gonna lose him again, thankfully neither thing happened.

Of course the mission to get Joey succeeded not because of Jacob's change of heart, but because Annie Parisse wasn't on it.

Yep, this was the one dropped ball of the ep. I thought she was going to be genuine and give them the location, then the last 2 eps would be a race agaisnt time to get to Joe and the mansion before he kills Claire, instead it was another silly "ZOMG she is t3h nutyz, SWERVE!"

Me too, they got me there for sure and I thought I was gonna have to come back here and admit Sawyer was right about something. :csad: :woot:

I really think you're being too hard on her. With all fairness, the only members of this team that aren't completely inept are Hardy and Weston. And Weston is mainly for the fact that he can take quite a beating without spilling his guts. :o

But until they added their token black character she was in charge!!! and botched one call after the other, although to each member of the FBI I have to cut them a little break due to the fact that either all of Joe's people have Solid Snake like stealth abilities or all FBI agents have hearing problems. :oldrazz:

No, I'd say everyone is pretty incompetent on the FBI side of things.

I seriously doubt the FBI is that sloppy in real life. At least I hope not. :p

Has he ever really had any sanity ? Dun, Dun, Dun

Claire should stab Joe. In every single episode. With different objects

I hope Emma doesnt get a quick death, I want her to die as slowly as possible

Damn Emma... [blackout]I love how you didn't even really see what she did at first, then you saw Jacob's throat slit wide open[/blackout].

Next time, though, Claire... forget the fork. Go for a kill shot.

Seriously, I don't think I would've stopped stabbing him.

The first time, I could understand, she probably had the jitters and it was spur of the moment. This time around, for the love of God... just take slice across his gut, for **** sake, Claire... :o

I dunno. This series seems to be unraveling for me. I have strong doubts that things could actually progress this way in the real world. I'll keep watching for the sake of the two male leads, but I can't see myself actually buying this down the road. I am liking Hannibal much better, at least for now. Maybe that one will fall apart after mid season like this one did for me. :(

If Claire had time to go back and kick Joe. She had time to stab him again but didn't. Next time put it right into his jugular.

The diversion plan was a pretty smart one. Infiltrating the evac center with possibly all 50 members. Damn. I was expecting higher death numbers. The guy who hung himself at the mansion drew the short straw.

The diversion plan not only bought time for Joe but seems to have delayed the process of going through Joe's visitation log (what took so long). With Parker missing it pretty much gets shelved. They'll eventually go through it all but by then Hardy's neighbor would have already struck.

Emma... damn. Went straight up ninja on the poor fellow.

Claire 2 & Joe 0

It might not be smart for Joe to be alone on a boat with Claire
