Kevin Williamson's 'The Following'

Not to sound morbid. But, I'd get an accurate description down. Go into the drug scene and track that guy down as a "friend" first and then take my revenge from there when he least expected it. When you truly want to kill somebody, it's not impossible to find them.

I was praying that the death of Ryan's father wasn't orchestrated by Joe. That would have been the point I stopped watching this show.

I also thought of a Spiderman parallel when the shooter came out of the convenient store and ran into Ryan.

Emma was really creepy when she spoke with Claire. I thought Mike was going to bite it again this episode.

Looks like the last three episodes will be all kinds of crazy. Can't wait.

I'm glad Joe wasn't involved. Aside from it being ridiculous, it would've taken away from his desperation to know what makes Ryan tick.

This weeks episode was great, Weston going ape**** on the possible followers only for him to end up in Joe's clutches. Finding out Ryan's first brush with death and then the events that followed it, amazing stuff!

Loved Claire telling Emma she would kill her as well, Emma was really creepy in that scene, and Roderick at the end. Anyone think Roderick will lead the FBI to the house and betray Joe?

Betraying Joe would not be in character with Roderic, he seems very into the stuff.

I think it's pretty evident at Roderick is going to betray joe. Every episode since his reveal has shown him ranging from visibly displeased or outright angry with joes decisions, and joe has been emphatically taking the resources provided by Roderick for granted.

Rodrick is used to being in charge. I don't think he enjoys being second fiddle. I can see why he would revolt against his mentor.

Yeah, I think Roderick will rebel against Joe, at least in some way. I don't see him trying to actually take Joe down, but I think he'll start moving forward with whatever his plans are without Joe's consent.

And then Joe will kill him.

I think Roderick betraying Joe is only a matter of time, but I dont think he will kill Joe himself, I think he will lead Ryan Hardy and the FBI to the house or somewere Joe will be isolated.

I can't see Joe dying in this, not with a second season on the books. I figure Joe will end up arrested and then be a Dr. Lector consultant type figure for Ryan as he solves other cases.

I liked the scene between Ryan and Joe where they discussed Ryan's Dad, the acting of Bacon and Purefoy lifts the often eye rolling material. The reveal of Ryan's dark past at the end was a neat twist, the couch he was forcibly OD'ing his Dad's killer on looked like it was the same set and couch that Paul died on.

I also enjoyed Claire laying some smack on crazy Emma.

Parker must be the most inept FBI agent ever.

I questioned Young Ryan so easily being able to find his dad's killer, but the part with the guy holding him at gunpoint and then running away had me thinking, maybe he recognized him?

I hadn't thought of it that way, maybe Ryan was a drug user as a kid? I thought it was mainly done just to show Ryan's closer to Joe than he may want to admit.

This past episode was the best since the pilot.

i have seen many tv shows, but never a tv show that combines so many things in a negativ way. idiotic characters, a story with so many holes, fbi agents/police officers with no clue how to do their job, a lead character that gets humiliated every episode, the list goes on...it's a comedy show for me, every episode i wait for another laughter...shocking, when you remember the first teaser for this show and you expected something like "se7en"...

Hannibal is closer to Se7en than this, lol. :p

Hannibal is closer to Se7en than Se7en is. :o

They gotta do something in the finale to get us to come back for more. Someone dying is good for that.

I love the cast and will finish the season but If I don't hear that they know there's a problem and will improve on the writing I won't bother watching next season.

I try to hold on, but this cult has just gotten laughable over the past several weeks. Joe should've been done by now it's getting embarrassing

Tonight was fantastic. Best since the pilot. Thank God team Hardy finally got a win.

I'm almost disappointed in a way how Roderick just gradually broke down and then the way he completely fell apart at the end after being shamed by Joe the last few weeks...

it was just a plain out-and-out stupid move on his part to introduce himself to Hardy and the team...

after being portrayed as being so cunning and clever, he was just incompetent and more unstable than what he let on and what we thought ...

and that chick, Melissa at the end of the ep... holy s**t... :wow:

Just caught up with the latest episode, I swear the only thing that will get me to continue to watch into next season is if its revealed that Hardy suffers from split personality disorder and is a former/current cult member.
