In order for Rogue to mount a physical attack on Kitty she'd have to touch her first. And that's not even getting into Kitty's outstanding melee fighting skills.

Depends on the battle field. If its a clear battle field kitty wins hands down. If its a forest rouge can hide anywhere from kitty and catch her by suprise. Its not that hard for her to do. And kitty cant fight while she is phasing so you can cross that out. If it was comic rouge then she would win hands down.

Remember when Kitty phased through that guy in the final battle, spun around and bodyslammed his rump to the ground? Did you see how she viciously attacked even Juggernaut himself? And had the gall to laugh at him?

In the Danger Room all Rogue did was huddle next to Peter and let him touch her head.

Movie Rogue is so not a fighter. Kitty is naturally fiesty...major ownage there man.

If Rogue has good stamina, all she needs to do is make Kitty run a lot or just get her tired till the point she looses her breath, Kitty can only phase when she holds her breath.

I think moviverse, but lately i dunno, somebody asked about her powers in the comic, in the comic Kitty do not stand one chance in a million aginst Rogue. Rogue in the comic is invulnerable...well was, not she is just "hot"

Kitty can breathe while phasing. If she is in an object then she can't breathe but if she is just in phased state then she can breathe fine. So why would she ever leave her phased state? Then Rogue could never touch her and all she has to do is rip Rogue's heart out or stick a rock in her brain and leave it there.

Well she doesn't need an object. Ever read Endsong? Scott had her phase her hand into his chest and told her to crush his heart when he told her to(it was a plan to stop Phoenix) She can just stick her hand in your body crush your heart, phase your brain out, phase your spine out ect.

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHH what can comic rouge do that movie ouge cant? Thats a hard one. Maybe she can fly and shes about just as strong as juggernot. Yea so you still want to ask that question.

In order to crush Rogue's heart, would her hand need to be tangible?

If so, Rogue could absorb Kitty's power of intangibilty the moment Kitty grasped her heart. Presumably Rogue's internal parts can't be touched either.
