yeah...that was what i was thinking as well, but if they keep doing that for the show it'll get boring fast.

Im no detective but considering the girl was nekkid...probably....but she seemed kinda boring so I didnt care

I might be in the minority here, but I thought it was terrible. Some of the effects were cool as some had mentioned, but the dialogue was painfull. My favorite was: "Is that your father you're talking to?" "You know my father?" "I saw him die". WTF? The characters had no charisma and they didn't get me to care about them at all. NBC failed on this one.

If this was a spring board for a television series, they have failed horribly.

The conversation with KITT on the way to Las Vegas was as amatuerishly writen as they come.

I thought the pilot was awesome Val Kilmer was amazing as the voice of KITT .
Justin Bruening did a great job protraying Michael Knight's son Mike Tracer, He really remind me of The Good old days with Hasselhoff as Michael Knight . I really hope this series is picked up for a full season .

The series could have a seriously huge budget.

And that's not terribly appealing to a studio.

No, but it could pull off some of the tricks the old series did by mostly keeping the adventures in rural areas.

And with Ford backing it up, it does help.

I think the aim is for a series. Otherwise, the next we're getting is the Larson Batman Begins-esque re-imagining of Michael Knight on the big screen.

Larson is also trying to get a movie of Battlestar Galactica made, but I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon because of the show. It's a shame, because I liked the original BSG, but I don't like the new one, so a BSG movie re-imagining would have been really exciting to me.

Just the thought of a darker, Batman Begins-esque restart of Knight Rider on the big screen has me drooling.
