I couldn´t watch the movie, but I saw the morphing on youtube and liked it, much more organic and less "neat", therefore fake, than in Viper.

I liked the beginning of the new intro (also on youtube) but not so much the rest: they tried too hard to "modernize" it, I think, ended up being a bit too fashionable. if they had stayed closer and been more subtle at the modern touches, it´d have worked better IMO.

Sarah was pretty bad, wasn't she? I was mesmerized by her eyes most of the time, so that helped, but she actually turned out to be worse than Mike for me overall. Still, I could tolerate her for a series.

Anyway, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition? Why the **** do so many people watch that trash?

I cringed a lot when she was in KITT and being chased by the thugs. I've seen community theater actors who could do terror more convincingly than that. Kilmer once again salvaged that scene for me, but like I said I couldn't really endure much more than that.

if this continuation of knight rider goes to a full series,

then why not magnum pi ?

get Tom Selleck back in to do a magnum one off show, introduce some new characters such as Matthew Perry as the new lead, and we will back in business !

Yeah, Kilmer's voie was really spot-on for KITT. I doubt I would've liked the movie as much if Arnett were doing his super-tough voice, especially with how confident KITT was throughout the movie.

Kilmer's softer, more relaxed voice + KITT's self-assurance = cool.
Arnett's super-tough voice + KITT's self-assurance = arrogant *****e.

One thing I didn't like was the redone, techno-ish opening theme. Knight Rider's theme song is one of the best themes in television history. No need to muck with it at all.

Three out of four time spots aint bad. Although i'm sure that if this became a series the ratings would drop steadily week after week.

Though granted it IS really hard to compete against Dexter...even network-sanitized Dexter...

If there's a new evil vehicle, sure. But since this isn't a restart, I want Peter Cullen back to voice KARR if it is indeed KARR who returns to fight Mike and the 3000.

I think it'd be cool that if KARR returned, he was still in the body of an '82 Trans-Am. It'd be nice to see some obsolecence to him, with him still raving about how the 3000 was another "inferior production line copy."

Shelby GT 500 minus dealer markup usually starts at $100,000. The Ford store near me marked theirs up to 175G

wow...i didn't realize it was THAT high. in that case, i think they could have gotten a better car with that price. I like KITT, but come on.

the whole music through the movie was very very very BAD.

Kilmer was amazing.

I work for a car lot and I had a guy come in with what looked like a 95 SS Impala. I ran the vin and it was a 94 SS Caprice Classic. He was trying to increase the value of the car, but wound up creating VIN fraud.

you mean like the Hammer...hahah, that's insane, i didn't know hummer replicas existed, crazy to see it.

ford did sponsor it, so it probably is a real shleby GT 500. But many sites say its' 40-60 grand, which is more reasonable than $100 grand, not to mention $175 grand.
