LOLI also liked Kilmer in The Doors, Tombstone, Heat, The Island of Dr. Moreau and Wonderland (a must see).

yea because a bunch of people hanging out on an island is so intresting
I pretty much agree with Dorky on the story aspect...the script could have used a little work, and though the Mustang was cool, I really did wish for something sleeker. THat said, I would watch the series if nothing else for a bit of a nostalgic feel, that and to see what really good writers would do with Kilmer and Co.
it was a decent tv flick, but i honestly don't think i'd watch it as a series. the lead actors barely held me and once again, KITT being a Mustang bugs me. plus, the plot/script wasn't really that strong and i can see them running out of ideas fast. if they decide to go forward with the series i'll probably catch an episode here and there but i don't think i'd be into it as much as say....Lost.
depends on how well it did tonight....NBC is using the show as a backdoor pilot...if enough interest is generated it might get an order for half a season, which is usually what new shows get 12-13 episodes
yeah...i still wish Knight Industries Three Thousand could've looked more like this...

oh yeah...was i the only one that wished the theme song featured the WHOLE song? i kept waiting for the REAL theme to come in but it just kept playing the sub-theme, hehe
I just wonder if we'll be seeing some cameos from the original K.I.T.T. The new K.I.T.T. was good but I miss the original's brand of patronizing.
P.S. I guarantee you the mastermind behind Black River is Garth Knight.

Dudes, if this becomes a show, I smell a really messed-up crossover with Las Vegas where Mike Traceur returns to the Montecito and finds a way to score with Delinda. Meanwhile, Danny tries to get inside KITT so he could score with Sarah, the FBI arrests A.J. Cooper and the Montecito gets bought out by the Knight Foundation.
Now we need an Airwolf remake![]()
i would too but i don't think that will happen. my big gripe about this movie was that there was too much drama and not enough action. i can easily see the tv show sacrificing more action for drama. That was kind of the vibe I got too. But what if instead of giving Knight Rider a weekly series, they give it sequels? I'd be down w/ that.
