To start the ball rolling:
1) In TDK, Joker gets gangland's attention by killing a mobster with a pencil through the head. In Burton's film, he uses a quill pen through the neck.
2) In TDK, Joker shoves Wayne's love interest off a tall building right in front of Batman. In Burton's film, a similar thing happens. In both films, Batman saves her in mid-fall. Also in both films, his love interest knows that Batman is Wayne, but his need to be Batman stands between Wayne and his intended.
3) In both films, Joker destroys Batman's high-tech transportation. Batman extricates himself from the wreckage and continues his pursuit.
4) In both films, Batman confronts Joker in a scene involving a heavy-industrial setting. (In Burton's film, this is how Napier BECOMES Joker.)
There probably are other similarities if we think about it. Not comparing the quality of the efforts in any way, just known plot points.
