The two are nothing alike. The reasons you gave are nothing more than an attempt to shove your favorite actress into the only available role. They have nothing in common.

is Pym actually that much of a wife beater that it defines their relationship? is he any worse that Peter Parker? as far as i know he's only ever hit her once, so that would make him and Parker equal. for some reason everybody forgives peter for his smack, but with Pym its on par with Tonys drinking the way people talk about it

Anyway, I think Kristen Bell would be an excellent Wasp, and Harley Quinn as well (if they cast for Quinn in Batman 3). I love Bell in Veronica Mars, and I'd love to see her in the Avengers if possible.

Lol, I hadn't heard about this one. Kristen Bell really wants to be in a comic book movie, apparently. First Harley Quinn, now this.

I don't know much about Wasp, so I can't say if she'd be right for the role, but I do think she's extremely underrated as an actress (by everyone who hasn't seen S1 of Veronica Mars...which is A LOT of people). So I definitely wouldn't complain if she were cast.

And it's worth noting that Joss Whedon is a HUGE Veronica Mars fan (he called it the "Best Show Ever," and eventually even guest-starred on it at some point)...so this doesn't sound like a completely ridiculous possibility with him at the helm.

Michelle Rodriguez is completely wrong for Wasp. Janet is a fashion designer with lots of class and elegance. She's not butch at all. In fact she has the style (and look) of Jackie Kennedy. The fact that she can take a slap says nothing about her femininity. She doesn't need to be some tough, no-nonsense bad ass like Rodriguez to portray that characteristic. Besides, people only remember that one incident in Pym's life and that suddenly defines him, but that's not all he's about.

Bell is okay and preferable to Longoria or Rodriguez, but really the actress who plays her has to be able to capture this kind of look and style (and even personality somewhat):

^^ Yeah I don't see Rodriguez as Wasp at but if you take a look at Ginnifer Goodwin, I think you would see some of the qualities that you just talked about. She is my preference for the role right now.
