Kristen Bell joins Heroes...

I'm a straight girl, so I'm not attracted to her per say....

But I kind of think that Kristen is the better looking version of Hayden P.

I know lots of people will disagree with me, but I think that Kristen is a better actress, has a prettier face and also a better body....

Ditto everything you said. I also like her character more than I like Claire.

I just want to see a battle royale between the two ... lightning bolts flying and the Claire cutting herself then not getting hurt (Joke). It'd be a good fight

Sounds like fun, I wonder if Elle sends a bolt on that place behind Claire's head, if she could actually kill her then.

I was kind of wandering if the head goes off she goes off applies to her as well as Adam and Peter... And the thing with head before i thought that was just her blacking out

Hayden's hotter. Kristen's the better actress.

It evens out. :o

Elle could burn Claire to a crisp and if she just repeated the process she could successfully kill her.

i agree with everything you say:up: Elle is the better Hero!

I think Hayden is more beautiful. But Kristen's character is way more interesting thus making her hotter. Bad girls are hot.

As cute as Hayden is, i just can't get past that little girl/little sister vibe she has about her. Kristen is totally hot. Not as hot as Larter but she comes off as being naughtier, which i dig!

Anyone else read the new novel on nbc.com

Its about Elles first assignment 8 months ago (going undercover at Claires school to keep an eye on her and to see if she has manifested any powers). And Eden makes a guest apperance. To bad they couldnt have done that in the actual show. (and Bob looks at Claire as the next Linderman or Papa Petrallie)

So Papa Petrelli powers are revealled?

So Papa Petrelli powers are revealled?

Not down right revealed. But now we can atleast assume that it was in the area of healing something. And Tim said in a webcast audio interview that "die" hard fans of heroes can find out what Angela powers are if they just look carefully and what powers Peter has used.

Interesting. I'd sure as hell like to know what her powers are. It's almost like Kring has purposely avoided revealing them outright, on the show.

I kind of think it has something to do with the dreams Peter has had in the past two seasons. It would make sense to have him recieve the power from Angela, mostly because no one else has been shown to have this power. I'd say its from her or Charles Devaux. If he did get this from Charles, then I have no clue what Angela's ability is.

I think her ability is persuasion via physical contact. She persuaded Heidi in four months ago to not tell anyone about the dark Petrelli "secret". They show her touching Heidi a lot during that scene. In season 1 she constantly touches Nathan when she tries to talk him into going along with her plan to blow up New york.

Heroes: Kristen Bell on the Strike
Joining her writers, the actress talks to IGN from the picket line.

by Eric Goldman

December 11, 2007 - Outside the main entrance to Universal Studios today the writing staff of Heroes were joined by fans from the show, as they walked the picket line during the ongoing Writers Guild strike. Also there to show support and walk with her writers was Kristen Bell, who plays the villainous and troubled Elle on the series.

Bell may have only joined the series a few months ago, but she clearly has made a strong and highly positive impression on her colleagues, as Heroes creator/executive producer/writer Tim Kring and co-executive producer/writer Jeph Loeb greeted her warmly before they walked the picket line together with the fans. Loeb even joked that later that afternoon, he and Bell were going to get married.

During her time joining the picket line I spoke to Bell about the strike, its affect on Heroes and her thoughts on the situation.

IGN TV: You've got fans out here today walking with you. In general, have you found that they are very understanding about why the strike is happening at this point?

Kristen Bell: I think people are trying to understand. I mean it's a little confusing to everybody when anybody goes on strike. They always think they're making inappropriate demands, but I think in this case word has gotten out enough that the writers are just looking for some fairness.

IGN TV: Did you have many conversations with the writers on Heroes as the possibility of the strike grew more likely?

Bell: Oh my gosh, yeah. It was like anxiety 24/7. We were all just sad, because we knew it was coming and it was the lesser of two evils. It was nerve-wracking for everyone. Nobody wanted it to happen; nobody wanted it.

IGN TV: What was it like when the strike began and you were still filming?

Bell: Obviously we were all very much in support of the strike, so there was a little bit of anxiety when you had to cross the line. But we looked at it like it was written prior to this and we were simply honoring our commitment to what they had already written. And then after that, I think we've all stayed pretty strong with the fact that everybody's now going to be supporting the writers… Because we have no scripts!

IGN TV: Do you hope days like this -- where the writers, fans and actors like yourself are all here together -- is helping send a message to the studios?

Bell: Oh, absolutely. I think the more people they see out here and the more consistent it is, the better. It died down for a minute when they went back to the [negotiating] table, but I think the stronger everybody's attitudes are kept up that it just has to be acknowledged that this needs to be settled and soon. Because I think what a lot of people don't realize is how many people take a hit with this. I one-hundred percent support the writers and support the directors and obviously support SAG, but what no one's really acknowledging is that none of the crew can work, and they're not even in a place where they would be able to request residuals. So to be in an argument over residuals, which are deserved…

I'm in support, but my heart really goes out to the crew members who haven't had work for two months before Christmas. It's a different situation that I don't think is really being acknowledged. So just even for that alone I hope that we can all come to a settlement soon where everybody gets their just desserts, you know?

IGN TV: You're having some in-person reunions today, but have you been in contact with the writers as this has been going on?

Bell: I have, yeah. It's a very tight nit family which is lovely I think. And actually, Jeph and Tim have been very supportive and I've gotten a couple of messages from Tim just of moral support saying "We're still all here and waiting to get back to work and I hope you're doing well." They check in. They don't just sort of abandon you and I think that's a reason the show is successful, because they do run it like a family.

IGN TV: I assume the experience of having just joined the show has been an odd one, because of the strike happening in the midst of it too.

Bell: Obviously I would have loved to have not been interrupted by the strike, but it is what it is. I've been happy to be involved in the show and I hope I continue to be.

I think last seasons finale confirmed he got it from Charles with him talking to Peter in his dream.

I think that's too literal an interpretation. There was no way of knowing what abilities she'd end up with.

Kristen's recent thoughts about Heroes:

AVC: How do you feel about the way your character is developing this season on Heroes?

KB: I'm really, really pleased with what they wrote this year. Last year it seemed like I came on so fierce that there wasn't a ton of emotional depth, and this year they really nailed that, and they wrote a lot of flashbacks, so I interact with characters in years past. You realize how integral she is to the events happening now, and I get to work with a whole bunch of different people on the show, which is so interesting and lucky for me, because a lot of times you only have scenes with one or two people for a whole season, even though there's about 15 season regulars. A lot of times, you don't even see the other actors.

AVC: The show has been pretty ambiguous about whether the characters can trust Elle. How do you see her?

KB: I personally wouldn't trust her. But there's a part of her I would trust. She's damaged. Seriously damaged. I want to trust her, but I don't think that I do.

AVC: You were a fan of Heroes before you came on. How do you feel about the recent criticisms that the show has lost its way?

KB: I think everybody deserves a get-out-of-jail-free card for last year, with the writers' strike and the nerves. No good comes out of concentrating on the bad. But I think people might be saying that because they haven't seen all of this season yet. This season is really good. It's comparable to season one—which, start to finish, I think is up there with Lost and 24 as one of the best first seasons I've ever seen. That's what hooked me onto the show, which was why I wanted to be a part of it. Season one was just amazing. And season two may have had its bumps, but they're bringing it back now.

She says what a lot of people on here are saying. Before you condemn this season...at least watch it in its entirety. Plus anything she says is fact so:o

This season of Heroes is definitely a great deal better than Season 2, so if there are criticisms for this season I think they are unfounded. I didn't care for Season 2 but this season definitely has me watching and enjoying the current storyline.

Watching Angel right now and it would be really great if the writers had Elle use her eletricity the way Gwen did in Angel.
