Overall I'm still not sold on this Lobo, but this episode was more engaging than than the premiere.

It's just occurred to me that whilst Zod should exist (does he at least think he shouldn't exist?). I may be forgetting something about the first season, but Superman's cape disappeared once history changed. Zod travelled back in time too, so if Seg is indeed dead, then Zod couldn't have been born, thus surely he'd disintegrate too?

That's obviously not supposed to have happened, but does Zod know that Seg is alive? If he has even the basic understanding of time travel within the laws of this show, then he should know Seg lives, unless he does anyway and he's just playing the card against Lyta. It's been a while since Season One. Maybe I'm simply forgetting something.

Liking Lobo too, many a few too many fake laughs for my taste, but the character is entertaining.

Lobo was fun. Fun to see Adam finally react to who he is. Also like how Lobo has beef with Brainiac. I am kind of waiting for someone to mention a yellow sun, which Colu clearly doesn't have.

Yes it was. It was mentioned once by one of the showrunners.

It actually originally came from the comics Seyg-El (Jor-El's father), who was named after Jerry Siegel, and the show just continued it on.

Really like Lobo so far! Also liking what’s going on with Seg.

Ok I'm about 80-90% sold with Lobo. He had me rolling in this ep, but there were a few cringe jokes. Overall, I like where there heading with him. Emmett is having the time of his life.

Yea I hope the touch on that at some point. Both Zod and Adam Strange know about the power of Earth's sun. Maybe they'll find a way to simulate it and power up Seg or even Lyta. They'll need a boost to defeat Doomsday.

Nope. It's also down over 70% from last season's average in the demo. I'll be surprised if it gets a S3, but ya never know. It's actually in the middle of the pack in terms of SyFy's shows, but most below it are already cancelled or ending, and I just have a feeling it's also one of their most expensive, so the odds don't seem great.

But you kinda have to figure that their putting a Lobo show into development so I’m guessing why do that if your gonna cancel the parent show.

So maybe there’s still hope. IDK.

Interesting. To be honest, I am not that surprised. So far, Season 2 seems to have lost some of its momentum from S1. It's not helped by the main cast being so separated. With Zod now ruling, he has lost some of his urgency. Let's just hope it all comes together more now that Seg is back on Krypton. It needs to pick up the pace and be more focused.

If Lobo is a popular character and show, it could very well survive without the Krypton show. It might be seen as more economical, following one character on his adventures, with more humour and action/adventure, rather than a bigger show such as Krypton.
