I noticed that RIGHT after he made that comment, they went to break..and when they came back Larry King had a totally different demeaner and did not mention any elements of the movie anymore.
I'm sure Singer was like "WTF dude".

I wonder how these idiot ass journalists would've spoken had BALE been casted as Superman... let's just say he was for a minute cuz I think he'd also be a terrific Superman, these guys would think twice about saying any of that sort of "is he gay or not." cuz Bale would've torn each journo a new a$$hole.

They're doing this primarily cuz Brandon comes across as a bit of a softie nerd which is not a bad thing, but he's passive, calm and extremely shy obviously despite being very well spoken. So they're taking advantage of that sort of crap. they're also bring it all up NOW instead of when Bryan was doing X-men 1 and 2 because that was all about racism, fear of the unknown and homosexuality to a certain extent ala minorities.

But because now Singer and crew are onto Superman, it's obvious media types because they know he's gay, along with his writers, editor, music composer, music conductor, production designer and lead sketch artists and that some of the cast members are gay such as Kevin Spacey and Lex's big body guard thug (he's a gay Australian rugby player), they're taking advantage of all of that just to create controversy

When you have that many people who are homosexual, and are in such a high profile film like Superman this is going to happen. It's not necessarily stupid. It is simply a way to market the film. Just because one doesn't agree with it, does not make it stupid. Singer should have known that with a lot of people of a homosexual nature working on such a high profile film, that this might be picked up.

Larry King rules. He has been in business and successful for many years. He knows what he is doing, and people like him for it.

It might be POSSIBLE to find a gay subtext in the film, I dunno - have to wait till 10 tonight to know. But it's a love story between a man and a woman. How gay is that?
I also never really went for the Christian subtext to Chronicles of Narnia. So the lion dies and comes back to life. So has Jason Voorhees 14 times, Ben Kenobi, Tinker Bell, E.T, on and on.
