So I guess Emilia Clarke's character nearly dies and is saved by a heart transplant and Henry's character is the donor and now his ghost is her good samaritan. Noted his outfit doesn't change. He will probably end up being Michelle Yeoh's son just to wrap everything in a neat bow

Besides Game of Thrones, Clarke has not had a whole lot of luck on her other roles. I could see this movie flopping.

Yeah but if she literally has his heart inside her, then it has a chance of being interesting. Like, maybe he plans to take it back.

For once I’d love to see a moving marketed like a sappy rom com only for people to realize while watching it that it’s a slasher film.

As a screenwriter, Thomson is usually pretty good. But, yeah, the trailer suggests generic rom-com.

Apparently, Thompson was asked to do a re-write of an existing script - which was enough to earn her a co-credit. So maybe she improved it. In any case, Baby got good reviews and did decent business (even if the franchise was posting diminishing returns).

This trailer is so bad.I mean it is charming but people already guessed the twist correctly. I cannot believe they put that whole thing about her being ill in the very first promo material and then they will probably treat the reveal as some huge twist

So the early reviews of this are awful. I'll still probably see it because Emilia is delightful.

And I'm curious to see if I'm right about the ending.
