Last Christmas | Universal

I need to see a romantic comedy about a brain transplant. Hopefully that’s what happens in Last Christmas 2.

So has anyone see it? Is he her actual heart donor?

It’s so hilarious that Hollywood is so bankrupt of new ideas that they’re taking metaphors in Christmas songs, making them literal, and turning them into movies.

Kind of insane that someone as talented as Thompson couldn't come up with something better than this. Ugh.

If the next big thing is turning songs into movies Journey seems like the obvious one. With a small town girl getting on the midnight train in a town near Detroit. While the main guy is in Detroit who ends up on the same train as the small town girl near Detroit

Maybe they'll take the midnight going anywhere. But she might also find out that loving a music man isn't always what it's meant to be, for that dramatic conflict.

Well, they kinda did that in Rock of Ages. The main plot line related to that song and some other 80s hits that they sang.

This movie sounds so awful from the "twist" to the Brexit stuff. I must see this, though no way I am going to pay for it. Going to be a bit of a wait. :funny:

Wait what? How does Brexit factor into this mess?

Actually, **** it. I have no problem blaming Boris Johnson’s racist ass for this apparent trainwreck of a film.

I enjoyed it for what it is. It's obviously not great, but there's enough to make it fairly enjoyable. Emilia Clarke is just so charming

Paul Feig got really upset that people figured it out. Dude, you put the song "Last Christmas" which has the lyric "Last Christmas I gave you my heart". What do you think people are going to guess?
Is the sequel set on boxing day and she dies and gives it away??
