I didn't think the original was that great to begin with. I hope for the remake, they'd make it more edgy, like The Hills Have Eyes, and not a standard PG-13 flick that appeals to the kiddies.

He was also in Deadwood and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Awesome actor.

The Hills Have Eyes re-make was awesome! Horror films need to start being like that.

Have you seen Aja's previous film, Haute tension? That was a great movie too! Been trying to find his first movie Furia, but no results yet.

Btw, Wes Craven's The Last House on the Left was already a remake of Bergman's film Jungfrukällan. So, this is already a second remake.

Recently saw the first film it wasn't as messed up as ever says it was, there were some scenes that were just wrong and disturbing but nothing as bad as they made it out to be. Who's supposed to be who in this film? I got Marie and The crazy chick but the two guys I get them mixed them up, who's who?

Well back then in the 70's it was considered more harsh and messed up compared to the standards of today. But the one part

The one guys name is Krug( guess thats where he came up with the name fred krueger) and there's another guy named weasel.

Plus a younger guy name Junior.

Didn't care for the original, not looking forward to the remake. I think Wes Craven was and is the most overrated horror director. I love the first NOES and The New Nightmare but do not like any of his other films.
