I actually had a question about that. What are the legalities of using music and graphics in a trailer like that? I'm working on a story myself, and when I finally get publishing with it, I'd like to use some music in the trailer.

As long as the music is credited in the video description you should be fine.

The graphics I made myself t:

For a trailer like this it should be ok (for using music). If you start selling tons of copies though, you might get a letter telling you have have to get licensing rights.

If you're doing it for educational uses, or personal/home use you're pretty safe.

If the music is really old (say you want to use Also sprach Zarathustra) it's fine.

Or you could use the Audioswap feature on Youtube.

Oh if I start selling tons of copies of the book, I'll be MORE than happy to take it down or change the music, I have no problem with that. I think that's a pretty fair trade-off

lol, yeah. The chances that someone raises the issue increases as the success of the work containing the breach/omission increases.

In reality this type of thing doesn't happen that much. When it does though, it has a habit of throwing wrenches into people's plans.

The initial price is $9.99, but I'll probably lower that soon after as I'll more than likely put up a 2nd edition so to speak. I'm definitely going to put a free sample up as well, but as of right now it's delayed at least a day or two. I KNEW I should have done this yesterday!! more time to let people know I guess. I also have some stuff up at my official blog, click the link and I have a whole mess of excerpts so enjoy!!
