Action-Adventure Legendary/Paramount/Capcoms’ Street Fighter film

I just want to know who’s doing the fight choreography. Hope they got someone good at least.

And an editor who won’t cut the fights to ####.

Who the hell is Joe?

To be fair, I haven’t paid attention to Street Fighter since the 90s.

Joe

one of the american opponents in the first sf game (1987!).
you fight him at a railroad station.

i think he'll probably be just a short cameo in the film where either ryu or ken fights him.

this is the one of the, if not THE biggest factor to determine if the movie is good or not.

i hope to god its choreographed and edited way better than what we got with the mortal kombat 2021 movie fights.

1. street fighter: assassin's fist

2. street fighter the animated movie

3. street fighter II V

these form the holy trinity of street fighter adaptions, imo.

Thanks!

lol I always forget there was a Street Fighter 1. SF2 almost feels like a sequel to a game that doesn’t exist.

“It’s as if I prepared throughout my life for this role. The Almighty has aligned everything. People wrote me off after Crakk (2024), but with blessings and manifestation, anything is possible,” he tells us from the sets.
He calls that setback a turning point that nudged him to go international: “When the film didn’t work, I went to my guruji, Dr HR Nagendra, at S-Vyasa University (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana) in Bengaluru. He did extensive tests on me based on skills. He advised me to go international and spread yoga in a big way. Soon after, I auditioned for Street Fighter — and it turned out to be for a yogic fighter! Representing Indian yog in Hollywood is a blessing.”

Jammwal describes Dhalsim as a “a direct disciple of Lord Parashuram,” emphasising that the character is rooted in authentic Indian yogic science: “He fights not for money or fame but for a cause and for humanity.”

The shooting has been going on since last one month in Australia and the film will also be shot in the US. “Next year, it will be having one of the biggest worldwide releases in India as well.” says Vidyut.

wonder how big of a role guile will be in this.
is it going to be like the animated movie where he's teamed up with chun-li, and one of the 4 co-leads?

Momoa not being on set due to Dune 3 makes me wonder if Blanka is going to be CGI/Performance capture?
