Endgame Lets Talk Avengers 4 and what we know #Spoilers?

I want to see her as Black Panther. Wakanda needs its protector.

My updated predictions:

-The movie begins five years in the future but ends back in 2018.
-The heroes use BARF technology to examine each other's memories and devise a strategy to defeat Thanos once they return to the past.
-The heroes do not travel back in time physically. Instead, they project their minds back to their old bodies in 2018. Their goal is to change the past and prevent the future that they came from from happening.
-Iron Man projects his mind back to the point where he is jogging. He then immediately calls Cap, and Cap gets to Scotland before Vision is injured.
-Thor's mind returns to the point that he is one the Guardians' ship. He then prevents the Guardians from going to Knowwhere. This saves Gamora from being captured and killed by Thanos and keeps the Soul Gem away from him. Thor brings all of the Guardians to Earth to team up with the Avengers.
-The Avengers all assemble in one place, along with the Guardians, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Team Ant-Man.
-The finale of the film is a redo of the Battle of Wakanda in which the heroes win.
-In a reversal of Infinity War, Iron Man dies in Spider-Man's arms.
-Tony dies, but leaves an AI version of himself behind.
-Captain America dies and is not replaced. Falcon retires. Bucky works for Black Panther in BP2
-The movie ends with Tony's funeral in 2018, and the Spider-Man movie begins at that point.

I like the theory of them projecting their minds back into their former selves. In Ant-Man and The Wasp, [BLACKOUT]Janet was able to take over Scott's mind from the Quantum Realm. Maybe they find a way to enhance that for time travel?[/BLACKOUT]

I'm guessing they expand on the scene at the end of AMatW to open the film. They use Scott to explain the passage of time. To Scott it's only been a few minutes, but when he gets back something is off. He searches out Cassie who thought he was dead. Cassie tells him what happened, at that point Scott goes and searches for what's left of the Avengers.

Tony revived S.H.I.E.L.D. or maybe even created S.W.O.R.D.

Not sure how Captain Marvel factors in if Time travel is involved though. If they go back before the snap and save Fury he wouldn't have alerted her.

Why not go back even further and stop Thanos from a) killing half his people, and b) stop Thanos from acquiring the space stone?

Thanos would presumably (at that point) arrive on Earth with only the Power and Reality Stones. Then again, if they're going back in time (mentally) the Guardians could stop off at Xandar and acquire the Power Stone before Thanos gets there, and then divert to Knowhere and acquire the Reality Stone then be on their merry way to Earth.

Thanos arrives with no stones, and is beaten.

TLDR, I think your predictions are off. ;)

Where is cap marvel in all of this?

The whole "projecting your mind into your past self" sounds too much like Days of Future Past so I hope they do something more original.

The speculation is Tony dies, which I don't disagree with, but I hope the ending is more uplifting and ends on a high note. After the downer of IW, I can't imagine they would do something like that two times in a row.

I think in terms of importance, Gamora and Loki is as far as they'll go.
I always figured Loki would meet his end in the first chapter of Infinity War. I'm not convinced Gamora will stay dead though.

It has been confirmed that Red Skull is able to leave Vormir now that Thanos has the Soul Stone. It is possible for him to show up in future films.

How though? He' marooned on that planet.

Who are we kidding?

They wont kill anyone important.

The Russos just confirmed during a livestream of Infinity War that using all six Infinity Stones exacts a big physical cost from the user, which is why Thanos arm was all screwed up at the end and why the Gauntlet itself was damaged.

I'm like 80 percent sure that the ending of the movie is gonna have one of the Avengers using the Gauntlet to bring back everyone who was dusted by Thanos, but at the cost of their own life.

Just spit balling here but its possible that the Soul stone transported him back to Earth like how it transported Thanos from the top of the mountain to that small body of water miles away.

It might have been keeping his soul prisoner so his soul is now free. I don't believe it has been confirmed he can come and go as he pleases. He had no ship he was zapped their. We don't even know if he was physically alive sure he has some enhancement but what did he eat and survive on all that time? Bucky and Cap were frozen which is different, Skull was likely alive the moment he was zapped there.

Well heck the Power stone alone being handled could kill a mere mortal. It was only controlled because the power was spread out. Unless they figure out a way to not put the glove on and make their desire possible, they will die.

Strange did use a Stone by himself though. And if a group as in GOTG1 can also wield the power... Just saying.

I think that after IW people are now on a "downer ending" train. I think they won't do that. They want people coming out of A4 with a song in their heart looking forward to the MCU's future post the big Thanos arc. A dead Steve and Tony would undercut that I think. They gave us the "heavy" ending in IW. No need to repeat that I think.

But the stone is being kept inside the eye. I don't think we ever see Strange physically hold it. When he gives it to Thanos he wasn't holding it and using the power. Fury burned himself when touching the Tesseract in A1 opening scene we saw Skull zapped when trying to use it.

Jane was messed when she touched the Aether.

I feel like this has gone a little far from the "what we know" thread into the speculation thread...
