Leverage on TNT

Sterling is still with Interpol I think

Yeah, but he's hardly the most typical insurance investigator/corporate vice president/interpol agent in the world. I'm sure there's a plot device that can see him form a Suicide Squad-type team to take down Ford.

BTW, sorry for all the DC references, but you can see where my head is at right now.

Call me crazy, but I found Parker really sexy in her business professional attire!

You're not crazy; Parker is fine as hell when she cleans up.

Of course for the show, her childlike demeanor and the way she usually dresses in usually unflattering attire, masks the fact that she has a nice body.

Just got into the show. I really enjoy heist films (although I havent had the benefit to watch alot). And I like how this is a mini heist film every week.
The cast and the tone is great

I've recently discovered interest in this show. Currently I'm catching up on the seasons and I just finished season one which was great

I've missed most of this season.

I want to start watching from Season 1 Episode 1 again.

Great ep last night. How funny was it that
no one in the group could get Sophie's accent right when telling their version of the story?

I found that hilarious. :woot:

Another great ep last night. Funny too. Can't wait for next week, the team invades London!

How much you want to bet Elliot will wind up wearing a Royal Guard uniform at a certain point in their adventure?

Just saw The Rashamon Job. Fantastic, and inspired, although:

If the objet had been a katana, it would be more fitting to the title.

Though it kind of reminds me of this classic episode from another great show:

In this scenario, Parker is Killer Croc I think.

I liked that they deviated from the normal formula for it. Everyone else's interpretation of Sophie's accent was hilarious, and the Super Mario Bros. reference with the security system made me chuckle. :D

i saw this episode early yesterday morning on rerun. i thought it was hilarious. she's really good at various accents, they however, suck at hers haha

I love how the show reveals that Parker has no understanding of what Sophie is saying most of the time.

They could have done more comedically with Parker's POV, however. Like inserting some random elements that are clearly wrong, like a guy in a bear suit walking around for no reason, some party guests on stilts and a juggling Mexican wrestler on a unicycle.

Makes sense when you think about it. She's the grifter, so changing her accent and everything else about herself is her whole job. The rest of them, if they do have to have a cover identity, tend to use their normal voices. Hell, all Eliot only ever ties his hair back and/or puts on glasses at the most. :D

yeah i get that as the grifter. i guess i just never realized how much talent the actress has in that department.

Oh yeah, Gina Bellman's accents have impressed me since the show started. She's really good with most of them. Very impressive, considering how much trouble some actors have with switching from their natural accent to just one different one.

WHAT? Are you saying Ah-nuld isn't a linguistic genius? :wow:

A lot of British and Australian-New Zealand actors can do American and other accents very well, so I guess Gina has the double advantage of being both British and Kiwi.
