Sci-Fi Lilo & Stitch-The Live Action Remake

Mowgli looking good, tho:

Oh I wasn't even talking about him, just the general idea of sequels having to still be in that timeframe where the kids are still kids. If you want to thirst over a grown-ass man hanging out with animals in the jungle, just watch the 1994 Jungle Book or George of the Jungle instead. :o

And probably the only one until Avatar 3.

Still, remarkable that this happened- the live-action will probably eclipse the animated one as far as general audience knowledge, at this point! Maybe. That didn't happen with the live-action Lion King, but that had been around for years to be considered a classic. Has the animated Lilo & Stitch reached that point?

What’s exciting about Sanders writing is this will be the first true sequel to the original animated film (since the live-action is more or less the same story).

I don’t think he had anything to do with the DTV junk on a creative level. But I’m sure he had ideas where he would take it had they made an actual theatrical sequel back in the day.

Apparently, Stitch has a Glitch was an intended theatrical sequel like Return to Neverland, but they were both released on DVD instead.
