Liquor Question

I come from a long line of rum drinkers and I'm lookin for somethin new to get into; Bacardi's gettin a bit old. For all you "of age" people out there, what's your liquor of choice? Be it Vodka, Brandy, Scotch, whatever?

I'm something of a traditionalist. Bourbon & branch for me most of the time. Growing up in Kentucky kinda made bourbon a foregone conclusion for me. Maker's Mark if you want a common one, and Noah's Mill for a small batch bourbon.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Got another year left and I don't wanna see another glass of the stuff.

I've always wanted to try whiskey and Scotch. They seem like very "mature" drinks, ya know?

How do people drink beer with food? I've tried it with pizza and it was horrible.

The best vodka is Grey Goose, but it's not the most affordable thing in the world.

I like Absolut Vodka + Tonic Water + Lime.

Canadian Club whiskey is lovely if you can get a hold of it wherever you're from.

I always mix my vodka with something so it's just not worth the money for me since I don't get the full benefit of the flavour.

Can't go wrong with Chivas Regal scotch. It can be a bit pricey, but I love it.
Maker's Mark bourbon is good stuff, too.

For me, nothin beats Jose. Just bought a bottle of Jose Cuervo Black Medallion tequila tonight and have a Jose and Coke on my table next to me right now (Jose Black is aged for a year in charred oak barrels like whiskey, goes down a hell of a lot smoother too.

I would have to say the same. I have a bottle of 12 year old that I need to replace in a bit, if I can afford it.

I've used Jose Cuervo 1800 tequila in chili a few times, accompanied by a few drinks. It's yet to do me wrong.
