Wolverine. I never liked the yellow spandex and mask look.

- DCEU Superman

- MCU Thor in most films

- Surtur

- Kurse (Jesus Chris this is my MVP)

- The Joker in TDK

- Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider in Agents of SHIELD

- Steppenwolf (his design itself not the CGI)

- Malekith

- Aquaman

- Blade

- Heimdall

- Valkyrie

- Volstagg

- The Mandarin a.k.a "Trevor Slattery"

- Ghost Rider (Spirit if Vengeance)

- Incredible Hulk (2008)

The Iron Man suit and Strange outfits are very different. To the point, they started making the Iron Man comic suits look like the film ones. Strange wears robes in the MCU, not in the comics. They took the basic idea, and fleshed it out quite a bit. Wonder Woman's outfit is not a basic one piece bikini like the comic counterpart.

You're right about Wonder Woman and I take your word on Strange. But Iron Man in the films has had a vast array of costumes.

I think Tony's Iron Man 2 suit is my favorite design of all of his film suits.

- Abomination

- Doc Ock

- Blackout (Spirit of Vengeance)

- Aldrich Killian

I'm sorry, but I still think Gal Gadot is miscast for Wonder Woman. I know I'm in the minority at this point but her acting in WW just wasn't very good compared to almost every other actor in the movie and she looks wayy too small and skinny compared to comic Diana who is almost as ripped as Batman and Superman. There are so many better choices for the role that Gadot's casting boggles my mind to this day.

I was very much on the same page.....until I saw the film

I believe that WW as a movie is overrated, the supporting cast are mediocre at best ( except Robin Wright) and their dialogue is weak. The cgi is so so.

However, Gal Gadot was simply brilliant as Diana. She carried the film and IMO was worthy of every accolade she received. Sure, she couldn't save B v S or JL but those films are better for her being in them.

So, agree to disagree.

Doc Ock was definitely an improvement on the comics

I actually liked Blackout , i thought he was a good adaptation from the comic.

Killian.....Guy Pearce is a great actor but IM3 is my least favourite MCU film. Can't honestly say if the movie Killian was better

Gal doesn't have a very "Amazonian" build though, regardless of her actual performance. It's not a small size discrepancy either it's a fairly large noticeable one, almost like if Ryan Gosling played Thor.

In the single comic he appeared in, all the fat slob did was shoot his face.

That is true, but she captured everything that was essential about the character - so much so that her slim build didn't really matter.

Ryan Gosling could pull off Thor, although he'd need to really hit the gym.....well okay, maybe not.

Having had Hemsworth as Thor, who's 6'3", we're used to a very tall Thor, whereas the only other live action Wonder Woman was pretty slim - the amazonian build is only in the comics and only with certain artists , Jim Lee's WW, or George Perez's is slim, Alex Ross is a different story.

All of her comic book builds are larger than Gal's though, she should atleast look athletic and Gal doesn't look athletic in the least.

I agree that she captured the essence of the character and when I said it's like Ryan Gosling as Thor I meant Ryan Gosling at his normal walk around size.

To be fair, that depends which comic you read.

I agree she does not look like an Amazonian warrior in the true sense, but she actually looks fairly athletic for her body type. She is very tall (her one Amazonian feature) and looks incredibly fit. I believe she was in the Israeli military. Point is I think she was athletic for her type, her type is just not the formidable Amazonian musculature that some artists emphasize more than others.

I agree that she looks fit, but fit and athletic are too different things and she does not look athletic or even move very athletically.

When I see attack people and send them flying hundreds of feat it just doesn't hit the eye right.

We will just have to agree to disagree on this.

As I said, I was a loud critic of her casting - but after seeing her in 3 movies now am convinced that she's an excellent Wonder Woman - in the look, her fighting movements and most of all how she portrays the character as strong but also kind and warm.

Really the ultimate female superhero.

Which actor does attack people in the right way to send them flying hundreds of feet?

I'm gonna catch flack for this, but The Joker in Suicide Squad (Jared Leto).

Henry Cavill lmao.

Surely it's a combination of the way the actor moves, the stunt person receiving the blow, the camera angle, the choreography, the wire work (if it's used), the CGI (if it's used), and so on....

I meant the iconic version that everybody is familiar with:

Wonder-Woman-DC-Comics-Gail-Simone-Diana-Themyscira.jpg

The one from the 1980 to 2015. Wonder Woman is known for her physical prowess and athletic build

Right. Alicia Vikander in Tomb Raider looked athletic, Gal lools fit

Blasphemy!!!

I somewhat agree(though I do maintain that Gadot does have a certain warmful charm that she brings to her performance that works really well in some scenes) and her accent kind of accentuates the exotic foreigness of WW(it would make little sense for WW to have an American accent as she’s not from the U.S.). She’s just so affable but I find her comedic delivery to be painful(especially in WW), and at the end of the day she really benefited from the director and being surrounded by much better actors to bring the best out of her.

Jenkins did admit she would never would have cast Gadot in the role had she been involved in the casting instead of The Snyders. But I do think she’s fine even though she’s probably not the best actor for the role.

Though I disagree with your point about her not being physically suited to play the role. Thing is, unless you cast someone like Gwendolyn Christie, it’s unlikely you’ll ever find a woman who can act and match the same big stature of comic book Wonder Woman. Also Gadot is not tiny(she’s 5’9) and looks taller with heels and I feel she bulked up plenty for the role IMO.
