Dragonball Z isn't for everyone, but I think you'll enjoy the original Dragonball.

Yea, but both shows are completely different. Dragonball is tall-tale, comedic, and gets to the point. Dragonball Z is sci-fi, serious, and takes FOREVER to get to the point.

Yeah, they drag out something for 10 episodes. It gets to a point where it's like, "Come on already! Kill him!"

Like in the Freiza saga, Namek was to explode in minutes. The show drug it out for 8 episodes.

Like, I lime dramatic pauses and silent standoffs as much as the next guy. But not when it takes up the whole episode!

I swear there was an episode where Freiza and Goku just stared at eachother the whole frickin episode!

No. Not for the movie. Krillen or someone can chop of Vegeta's tail. Thats all Yaijarobi did in DBZ anyway.

a live action dbz movie?...should this even be a discusion?..lol..i mean..lets be real for a moment..a hardcore japanese anime like dbz being made into a watered down american live action film...it didnt work for street fighter and it will never work for this...i mean..come on..seriously..look at street fighter..bison came out looking like s twig with a cape and generals cap and ken and ryu were portraid as slaves and petty thugs...they screwed up that movie and they will screw up any chance of a dbz movie worthy of actually watching..end of story

for the first movie get ridof the DB humor. make a transformers movie where you have people fighting and throwing each other through buildings. they should basicly make a movie for teh masses.
the movie makes milions and a big profit.
for the sequel you make a more faithfull movie and ....it will bomb.

so at the end of the day you have two movies where people are fighting matrix style. good for me.

That's what I'm thinking. Plus, with Speed Racer and Voltron in the works, I guess Fox wants to cash in on the soon to be anime to movie craze. Plus, as it stands, Fox doesn't have any big franchises. X-Men is over and FF3 is uncertain.
