Now as we all know, Sandman has a similar storyline to Dr. Connor's in spidey3. but doe's that mean he still can't have his original Storyline? I think that if they are going to change his storyline they shouldn't change everything but they should change thing's around a bit. I'm not mad that Sandman has the Lizard's Storyline but for the fact that he does, Lizard might need a different storyline. not the USM storyline because that is just not right especially for film's that are based off of the classic spidey comic book's. I said most of this stuff befor not too long ago in the spider-man 3 spoiler's section so I was wondering, what Storyline do you think they should give the Lizard in SM4?

Not that I like the USM comics, but thats a stupid reason. The movies are not just on the 616 comics only(though i'll admit its mostly 616 stuff). For instance Eddie Brock in SM3 is a photographer and works at the Daily Bugle just like in the cartoon.

Besides the only thing different about Ultimate Lizard, is that Conners is divorced.

you also forgot to mention brock isnt 'body builder type'

Well since they did give the Lizard's story to Sandman, maybe they should just give the Lizard a complete new one, like:

They could change the whole thing, and make Dr.Connors just give the experimental injection to an inmate in a prison who has a lost limb, and the inmate agrees so he can get some of his time taken off.

Then he turns into the Lizard and escapes, but in human form the guy kills people still since the guy could be a serial killer. And then you would wonder is the serial killer's personality the reason why the Lizard kills or would the Lizard still kill if the injection was used in a good person.

Or maybe the inmate is a mobster, and when he escapes the prison he goes to pay a visit to the Kingpin. Then the Kingpin gets Kraven the best hunter to hunt the Lizard. So basically the Lizard leads spidey to the Kingpin who is the one responsible for the crimewave.

Then when the Kingpin is in jail at the end of the movie,he gets all of his top guys to go after spidey for puting him in jail.(Sinister Six for the next movie after that)

We Were Discussing This In Poohs Playhouse Ummm Lizard Should Keep Originale Orgin With Some Slight Changes

What if the whole movie you think it is Dr.Connors as the Lizard, but it could be his daughter who was trying to find a serum for her father and used it on herself.

Doc Connors definitely has to be Lizard, no question about that. Should they revamp his origin? Slightly, if at all.

Sandman was motivated to do criminal activities for the betterment of his daughter. But, when you get down to it all and take away his family element, Marko was a crook with some neat powers.

Connors has his family, but his motives for becoming the Lizard was not based on them or their feelings. As a matter of fact, he went against his wife's pleas and used the formula on himself. Lizard, IMHO, is not a villain, but a man who has been misunderstood...or at least, that's how I'd interpret him. Lizard wouldn't have any master plan; he'd be battling his primal insticts and have a personal conflict that no one notices except for Spider-Man. These animalistic ideas are escalated when the police and Kraven begin to hunt because of his monstrous appearance.

which is why the storyline will effect the character if they change it ALOT. The Lizard is a character that is dealing with problem's so I think Sam will make him have alot of emotion which I wouldn't mind one bit. misunderstood character? I guess you can call him that because that make's sense. what I would like to see is exactly what you have said and a personal connection between Peter and Dr. Connor's. Peter would be the only person who know's what Dr. Connor's is going through and what he's been struggling with. Peter would undoubtly relate to that considering peter got his power's from a radioactive spider. Peter defenotley doesn't want Dr. Connor's to be the lizard and neither does the lizard's wife and son but he want's to grow an arm back. this is specificly the thing's I want to see on film rather than Dr. Connor's having no family involved with his storyline.

Lizard would make for an AMAZING villain. He has so much to offer actually. There are even some strands that can be tied to his story for a forth film that would seriously work well with the dramatic aspects. There's also a certain tie to a possible inner conflict Peter is going through due to all that happened in Spider-Man 3.

Just a quick plug, I am currently working on a Spider-Man 4 screenplay that so far I am very proud of. It will premiere message board wide hopefully on or closely around May 4th. And yes, it involves the Lizard. Just thought I would give you guys a heads up.

Who are the other villains that your gonna use?

for the 4th,id have lizard and kraven and maybe a cameo of felicia hardy

Let's just say I'll be using a lot of the mythology from the comics. :cwink:

That's part of the fun. I even have a fight scene that I originally planned to write back in 2002!!! So, some of this has been with me for a while.
