I meant random as in 'the place itself isn't special, but this is where we'll meet'. But that place could've been anywhere and somewhere much easier to reach so there is probably more to it, yeah.It is quite a lot to take in. But I'm pretty sure it wasn't random. When the big company decided to off the kids, the nurses joined together in saving the kids and I wanna say each took on a responsibility for an individual child to bring them to Dakota and figure things out from there.
I wasn't 100% sure while watching the movie. It's the closest we got to Eden either way.I got the impression the Camp was Eden?
She wanted to go to North Dakota which is where Logan took her?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like some of your frustration is what Logan does to the franchise as a whole?
Perhaps viewing Logan as standalone, like an alternate ending after the DOFP coda makes the movie better.
I have other issues with the film as well. I do think it starts out much stronger than it finishes. Third act could have used some tweaks, more time with just Logan and Laura toward the end would have been nice.
Definitely gonna find the time for a rewatch. I want to see it again and I don't. It's going to hurt, lol.

Couldn't agree more. The first half was near perfect before faltering slightly once X-24 was introduced. They should have cut him and Xander Rice from the movie and spent that time instead developing the relationship between Logan and Laura. It would have made the part where she calls him daddy much more impactful.
Logan hitting the car actually got quite a few laughs when I was watching the movie and I honestly didn't really understand that. I thought it was really sad.
Kind of wish Mister Sinister was the "behind the scenes" villain here instead of that generic old guy in a suit who unleashes X24. But on the balance of things I think Mister Sinister is best saved for a more actiony, ensemble team movie.
ok, sorry if this was brought up earlier in this thread, I am short on time to go back, but is this movie ok for an 11 year old to see? One who has seen every other comic book movie out there sans Deadpool? Language and violence doesn't concern me too much unless there is like Hacksaw Ridge level of graphic violence. Thank you in advance, it would save me having to go screen it myself first and having to go twice.

It's kind of funny when you realize that we've gotten two films from James where Wolverine's healing factor and abilities weren't at their best for most of the film, with the character struggling to find his purpose in life for both films.lol

Did anyone think of Gordon's eulogy in TDKR when seeing Laura quote Shane? Both work so well in their respective films.
Except unlike TDKR, they actually had the balls to kill off the main protagonist![]()
Her last lines during Logan's eulogy is a direct quote from Shane, which she was watching with Charles earlier.I didn't catch this? When did she do that?
Joey, there's no living with, with a killing. There's no going back from it. Right or wrong, it's a brand, a brand that sticks. There's no going back. Now you run on home to your mother and tell her, tell her everything's alright, and there aren't any more guns in the valley.
