We really don't have enough information to know that all of Asgard was green. It could be that Odin plucked Loki

Alternatively, Loki could have created a green illusion that got stuck.

So, something to keep in mind is that huge chunks of what the TVA claimed was their motive, was bull**** invented by Immortus. The primary purpose of the TVA is to simply ensure that there is only one Immortus in the future, rather than the various Kangs/Rama-Tuts/whatever. Thus, is the Sacred Timeline actually truly singular? Probably not. Its *broadly* singular, but Immortus only cares about branching that actually *branches*, that is, that would produce a separate 31st century with a separate version of himself. Timeline variance that make no larger change goes unnoticed, and probably literally merges back into the single overall timeline once their proximate consequences fade out.

I think the "sacred" part of the Sacred timeline just involves the actions that are taken. Like Loki can be a female, alligator, African American, any different race or species, But as long as all his core moments still happen. Presumably they all lived the exact same lives until their respective Nexus moment occured.

Yes that's pretty much what Classic Loki confirms, he faked his death when Thanos was supposed to kill him and went into hiding, him coming out of hiding created a branch which is how they noticed him and sent him to the void

I suspect Sylvie got pruned because she was playing with the Valkyrie figures and created a branch because she decided in that moment to become a Valkyrie which she never would have become the Goddess of Mischief which pretty much is needed for Thanos, who is needed for the Avengers to figure out time travel, which is very much needed for Kang.

 

One of the great things about Jonathan Majors playing Kang and all of his variants is that he will get to play Rama Tut, which means that for the first time (maybe ever?), a black actor plays a powerful Egyptian ruler rather than a slave from Nubia.

Oh, that’s miles away just for filming.

I guess they will keep us stacked with shows till then anyway.

 

Pretty unexpected, but I guess it depends on certain factors such as the actors, COVID, etc.

 

Yeah a bit surprising after the positive reception to the show. Also I would imagine the plot could be quite important in the wider MCU too. I guess there’s a ton of planning required to get all these films and shows to fit together and give out important info at the right time for other projects.

 

The stuff that happens in the Loki series... do you think it will affect the Multiverse as much as Wandavision did?

 

As much? The multiverse wasn't really much of a factor in WandaVision.

 

Wasn't it claimed that Wandavision's effect on multiverse will be revealed later? And will find out in next Spider-Man and
Dr Strange 2?

 

The only thing they said was that this show was going to lead in Strange 2, which is true. Wanda has a new status quo that's going to be reflected in that movie. But they never specifically said WV was gonna deal with the multiverse, we the fans assumed that until the show finally came out and ended.

Meanwhile Loki dealt with the Multiverse head on and we see the ramifications of that at the end of the season. Plus the head writer of Loki became the new writer on Strange 2 and has stated he rewrote the script based on what happens in Loki.

 

This really emphasizes the need to distinguish between the actual official statements, versus the suppositions and extrapolations people make *from* the official statements. "WandaVision will introduce the multiverse" was *never* based in actual evidence, it was always just a postulate by fans overly eager to connect the dots, especially if you could pencil in those lines in the right way to form the word 'mutant'.

 

It may have been mostly speculation. That's true!
There's one strange thing though. The official LOKI synopsis made me think it's really going into the Multiverse thing. I went on to present LOKI as one of these Multiverse projects. That was last year here at SHH. But the theory was dismissed. People were rather going for Wandavision as the crucial opener of the Multiverse. It will start it all, Spider-Man 3 will continue and go further, and then the Multiverse storyline will be concluded in Dr Strange 2.
People claimed Loki won't have much to do with it.
I also remember mentioning Quantumania in my theory.
