So I just came back from watching Cabin in the Woods. Great movie. A brilliant and innovative take on the horror genre. I fully recommend it to everyone.

R rated horror flick vs a box office smash hit PG-13 film? yeah It was pretty obvious it didn't become #1 at the B.O.

$15 million opening weekend for Cabin in the Woods is pretty good IMO.

Right now THG is getting all those "Well it's made so much money and so many people are talking about it I might as well go see what all the fuss is about" tickets. I was almost one.

My theater only sells the Friday 3D tickets online, no 2D. So I'm going today to get my ticket for Friday night.

I *wish* I could do the midnight show here in Novato. Alas, that would conflict with my son's nighttime schedule. Stupid baby!

I'm going to do the Marvel Marathon that Rave Cinema's is offering. Iron Man, Hulk, Iron Man2, Thor 3d, Captain America 3d, and topping it all off with a midnight showing of Avengers 3d!

Started the in-order (skipping around, inserting and ejecting DVDs) MARVEL marathon including the Coulson shorts and Nick Fury's Big Week comic. THIS IS AWESOME!!! (On Iron Man 1).
