The Avengers Loki has an Army, We Have a Lounge!

I think I saw the two trilogies being sold as seperate packs at Target last time I was in there.
I guess the internet angst worked, then :cwink:

I wonder who shoots first on the blu

Which may be justification enough for me to withhold my $40 and wait until Lucas releases the original original trilogy.

He lives just a few exits away from me. I should take this up with him. Jedi-style. :jedi

Oh, sure. It's still a bit early to tell, but I've been talking to one of my teachers at College, and, depending on the results of our research (which has gone pretty well so far), I have very good chances to do my doctorate studies at an institution called CBPF, the biggest center for physics research in Brasil, and one of the biggest in SA. And better yet, under the tutelage of one of the top researchers on this very particular field i'm studying.:yay:
*crosses fingers*:yay:

Congrats!! Hope it works out for ya :woot:

I think Lucas should add a CG Chewbacca who shoots first

Definitely. That was the perfect way to introduce Han...and he goes and ruins it.

Speaking of Star Wars: It's a large picture.

Finally got my tickets! Know apparently some guys here are also in Buffalo, NY - Regal Cinemas is finally pre-selling IMAX tickets.

Just want to bring to everyone's attention a couple of movies that I've seen recently that I've enjoyed:

The Woman in Black: a really well done horror, very very creepy; I strongly recommend watching it by yourself late at night with the lights out.

We are the Night: a German film that's very hard to quantify. I guess it's a bit of a horror but not really; more of a thriller. Really well done. I love the director's style.

Woman in Black was good? I'll have to check it out.

Speaking of horror, is anyone going to see Cabin in the Woods? I'm watching it Saturday night.

The Woman in Black had some great atmosphere and great acting but there was one too many jump scares. At times those jump scares was clever but other times they were cheap. I really liked the ending.

The ending was the only thing that at first I found questionable but then I came to understand it.

I found the scares were REALLY GOOD; I actually felt nervous, which is rare for me.

Some of those jump scares were bloody brilliant!

Seriously folks check out 'We are the Night'. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I do tend to seek out under the radar films, especially horrors, and many from parts of the world other than the US. Here are some others that I have liked:

Time Crimes
Dead Girl
Dog House
Triangle

Obviously not everyone is going to like them all, but I think they're worth invesigating.

Eh, I've been done with watching vampires films. I'm sure it's pretty good.

If you want some recommendations from me of under the radar films I say check out these films:

Ink
I Saw The Devil
Grave Encounters
[REC]
[REC] 2
TrollHunter
Buried
Solomon Kane
Pinocchio's Revenge
Insidious
Hesher
Trick 'r Treat

I'm totally going to see it. Even after that idiot spoiled the end at the Hype...

Trick 'r Treat is FANTASTIC!!! I own the Blu-ray. I know REC 1 and 2 are supposed to be really good. Sadly I've only gotten around to seeing Quarantine 1 and 2. Solomon Kane I've seen; didn't like it that much; decent though. I think I have 'I saw the devil' somewhere but I have yet to watch it. I know about 'Insidious' and 'Trollhunter' even though I have yet to see them. Thanx for the heads up.

Yeah. I wonder if it's going to be something like Iron Fist or GotG. I'd prefer GotG to be a live-action movie, but I have to admit it would look pretty great with a Pixar touch.
