two weeks ago i got a young cat (is 8-9 months a kitten still?) and we have been acclimating to each other, the house etc. i fell asleep last night on the couch and woke to her asleep on my chest. small steps

however, during the day she is still avoiding me lol but follows me like i don't see her haha

@squeekness I decided to go through with the next Spanish Conversation course, while working, just as an update. I figured volunteering at my old martial arts studio isn't currently in my best interest. But I may go back to learn further my Tae Kwon Do First Dan black belt one day!

If I had the energy for a class it would probably help me get past the fact that my country is imploding. Maybe. Did spend the day at the Providence zoo yesterday and it was nice to get away from the news for a while.
